...I've been drinking in Manchester for more year's than I really care to think about, but have never been in Corbieres. When I meet the lad's, it's usually in The Hard Rock Cafe, in the Printwork's and they tell me they have been to Corbieres first. I never seem to get into town early enough to join them. ...I finished work last week and me and my man fancied a bottle of wine. Now when I buy wine I am a fairly easy person to impress. I drink both red, white, rose, port and champagne. In fact if it has alcohol in it i am happy to give it a go and rarely find a wine I don't like. I fancied a rose wine but found they didn't have my usual Ernest & Galio so I settled for Rose de Corbieres instead...

Advantagesquiet resort, off the beaten track

Disadvantagesmay struggle in this accommodation if no car

...were the only ones on the piste! The main resorts to stay in are Le Corbier, La Toussuire and St Sorlin, although there are a handful of other smaller villages. St Sorlin is by far the prettiest village with traditional buildings, ramshackle old farms and a 17th century baroque church. Very quaint, but also fairly quiet with not a lot of apres ski. Le Corbier and La Toussuire are pretty ugly...
