...I've been using Paint Shop Pro since around 1998/9, when PSP5 was out. Since then, it's been through many different upgrades, and I've learnt much about photo and image editing along the way. Until version 10, or Paint Shop Pro X to give it its proper title, the software was developed and sold by Jasc. From version 10 onwards, however, it has been part of the Corel family of software, alongside the likes of Corel Draw and, of late, Winzip. From version 11 onwards, the software gained the word 'Photo' in its title, becoming Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI. It's impossible to give a review that covers absolutely everything about a product like Paint Shop Pro. The install went OK, with an impressive-looking graphical installation program. But once I actually got into using it, I was rather unimpressed. Although the supplied KDE window manager was easy to use, I was underwhelmed at the amount and scope of programs provided. It was the basics, and certainly nothing more. It also seemed to be missing most of the useful configuration tools you usually get, both graphical and command-line based. This is a bit of a blow to any user, especially a beginner like me. The one place that always seemed to come up was the Corel Hotel in Corfu. All the pictures and info on the net pointed to a good family run hotel in a nice area of Corfu. LOCATION The hotel is situated on the outskirts of RODA which itself is about an hour and a half from Corfu Town and the airport. The hotel itself is literally a small stones throw from the beach. ...Having read good reviews of First Direct I thought I would apply to open an account. The on-line forms are quite complicated, but never mind, it could be worth it. I got a phone call from a pleasant and well informed customer service woman who confirmed my application and said the printed documents were being sent for me to sign. So far so good ! After a couple of days the paperwork turned up, in a rather funereal black card envelope, 33cm high by 13cm from side-to-side, and 1cm thick, the address being supposed to show through a small window. The problem was that only the post-code was visible because the paper on which it was printed had moved to the top of the packet. If only they'd had the sense to print it about 12mm lower down the page it would not have been obscured whichever way the sheet moved. So what was inside ? All...

However as I haven’t been on facebook for some time then I probably wouldn’t’t have seen it else where. Facebook is well known for its applications you can download and add to your profile, there’s lots of games and other little applications you can get and now there’s this new application called the “ciao wall” to pop onto your profile. The ciao wall was easy to download, you can search for it on the facebook site or on the ciao site and it only takes about 20 seconds to download and after that its pretty much ready to use.
