...I'd never been a fan of the infamous Brand and really couldnt see what all the fuss was about. I especially couldnt see why women were swooning over him either,to me he looked like a scruffy guy that was desperately in need of a wash! However,I completely take it all back,not only is he one of the most hilarious and clever men/comedians of our generation,but my gosh I certainly wouldnt kick him out of my bed either! I first decided he was hilarious after watching him in the early hours doing Comic Relief early this year. I found his humour and the way in which things just came out of his mouth absolutely side-splitting. Do not judge brands on price

Advantages: Very good quality
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

...than that and you won't be doing yourself a favour - it'll almost certainly be diluted. If you're using it for room burning this won't be so much of a problem - tho' the cheap dilutant can really clog your burner - but if you're using it for massage you need to be very careful, as unscrupulous operators can add chemicals and all sorts. Check the ingredients VERY CAREFULLY - anything 'blended' is not pure, and unless the label explicitly says the oil is pure it almost certainly won't be. Even for cheap oils like lavender it's worth getting a good brand and shopping around because the opposite problem will occur: as aromatherapy has become more popular, more shops are carrying oils and marking them up to extortinate prices. ...'My Booky Wook' is an autobiography by Russell Brand charting his life from birth up until gaining success. The ending of the book suggests there may be another book somewhere down the line. I enjoyed this book because it feels as though Russell Brand is really telling you a story. The language used is chatty and the choice of vocubulary makes it clear that Brand really did write this book himself because some of it is as absurd as the man himself! Im not a fan of 'celeb biogs' because I generally dont think that famous people can have much to say, and in some ways Brand doesnt. He has not had a life comparable to the Ghandis and Martin Luther Kings of the world, therefore if they are the sort of inspirational figures you like to read about steer clear. ...Well I have read all of the books by Mike Gayle so I was quite excited when I saw he had a new book out. I reserved my copy at the libary and boy am I glad I did. Not only did I get the first brand new copy of it it was an excellent read and here's why: Meet Rob. He's a fun guy who has a girlfriend (Ashley) who lives in Manchester. He likes to hang out with his mates a lot and talk about anything and everything. From Musics, movies and actors to what kind of magazine they would be. Russell Brand Stand-up

Advantages: Very funny
Disadvantages: There are no real surprises

...I got this DVD for Christmas, I love Russell Brand. I think he's very funny and I watched all of his shows, so this was a perfect present for me. It was filmed live at the Shepard's Bush Empire and it ran for about 60mins. The topic of this show was generally about 'shame' and how Russell always manages to embarrass himself in any situation. It's the usual energentic, self-depricating and flamboyant humour but instead of being in short bursts in his show it is a 60minute long version. If you are not a fan of Russell Brand or are not too sure of him, I'm not sure this DVD would be for you as it is very typical of his humour, lots of rude bits and some things which are downright silly. It's mainly filled with anecdotes of things that have happened to him, like his holiday memories (the embarrasing bits), being insulted by rock...

Brand New or heard it all before...

Advantages: Cheap for how great it is, well constructed, greart lyrics, diverse.
Disadvantages: 1 song let down. Audiable sounds. Rather long, pretensious song names.

...Ok...I actually wrote this as a review in English Language last year...(which explains why its a bit out of date)...but I figured...why not use it?
