...After reading various ops on tour operators and their terrible service I felt I had to put fingers to keyboard and tell you all about my experience with Cosmos in Gran Canaria. To be honest, tour operators seem to have quite a bad reputation in general but I am pleased to say that I was pleasantly surprised by Cosmos. We arrived at Las Palmas airport and were met by the first Rep who directed us to our bus and welcomed us to the island. The half hour journey to the apartments was entertaining enough with Rep number 2 giving us a brief but jolly account of some of the things to see and do at the resorts and also a few plugs for Cosmos’s organised excursions. Cosmos Maris - a perfect getaway

Advantages: Pretty much everything!
Disadvantages: Maybe a little out of the way for some people.

...compared to the meals we had in Lardos, costing three times the price and being nowhere near as enjoyable! Overall the Cosmos Maris is a special place to go on holiday, in a perfect setting with a warm welcome and a family feel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break....

Cosmos for the best holiday

...I have to say, that of all the tour operators I’ve ever used (and there have been a few), Cosmos is definitely the best. Their service is second to none, and I now go out of my way to try and book my holidays with them. When we booked our holiday to Tunisia last year, we found a “palatial” 4 star hotel in the Cosmos brochure for less than half the price that Airtours were offering (we booked out of the brochure, not last minute). We arrived amid problems caused by the airline (JMC), to find two wonderful reps waiting for us at the gate. They very quickly arranged to pick up our daughters pushchair (which JMC had left at Manchester airport) when it arrived on a later flight. cosmos on the nile

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: not a lot

...We booked with Cosmos when we did our 4th visit to Egypt,and I have to say it was the best visit we had.Price wise there wasnt a great deal of difference to any other visit[about £580 per person]but there was much more for our money as far as tours were concerned.We like to do a week on the Nile and a week in Luxor and all packages usually include 10 guided tours whilst on the cruise,but Cosmos went that little bit extra .Anormal part of a cruise is a felluca sail in Aswan round Kitcheners Island and a visit to the High Dam,but this time we were taken onto the island to spend time in the beautiful botanic gardens,which were amazing.We had plenty of time to see every thing and get a cool drink and a bite to eat,and our visit to the dam also included a stop to see the quarry where the unfinished obelisk is.We were so glad to have...

Poor Cosmos Service in The Gambia

Advantages: None--totally useless.
Disadvantages: Curt, only interested in selling trips. Totally uninterested in customers.

...Our Cosmos Rep in The Gambia was the most useless I've ever met. Introduction Meeting? He didn't hold one--bit swore to us he did--err, I was there--you were just selling a trip to group of guys! Polite manner? He didn't have one. Ability to give information? Did he know anything? Didn't seem to. Our room had only cold water in a basin, no working shower and broken fittings, we wanted to change rooms. His solution? I can take you to another hotel--you pay me the brochure price difference. When I said that was not acceptable, he told me to see than hotel manage and sort ot out myself. On our final day we were delivered to the airport at 11 a.m, told to check in and go through security--even though the Rep knew our plane had not even left England! We were left for 9 hours with a "meal voucher" that bought one sandwich--no drink...

Cooler Master Cosmos S - Review

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing

...First of all the Cosmos S case comes in excellent protective packaging. A sturdy cardboard outer box encases two styrofoam blocks (top & bottom) which prevent the case from moving at all during transportation. The case is wrapped inside of a plastic bag, and then again, inside Cooler Master's own fabric bag which is brown in colour and is strong enough to retain and use in the future whenever the case needs covering. It's the little extra's and attention to detail that makes a lot of difference in my opinion. If first impression's are anything to go by, then this case ticks all the boxes. It's huge, beautiful and demands the attention of any passer by, whether they are interested in computers or not! Along with the case comes a plastic bag containing all of the necessary bits and pieces to assemble the case and control the cable...

The Flower Of Passion

Advantages: Stunning flowers, easy to look after, quick grower
Disadvantages: Can take over the garden if your not careful

...Myself and my girlfriend have been sorting out our back garden so it?s all in good shape for the summer. The garden is not very big so we only have a couple of small flower beds. We have found the Passion Flower to be a great addition to out garden because it is a climbing plant and grows along the fence, rather than taking up floor space! The Passion Flower The Passion Flower is very similar to a vine in the way it grows. New stems grow from the main plant and attach themselves to whatever they decide to grow along. The leaves of the Passion Flower are dark green and have a very attractive shape (I suppose it is quite similar to a cannabis leaf). Along the main stem of the plant, little feelers grow, these are vital to the plant because this is what clings to whatever the plant is growing along and supports the weight...

I can remember back, gosh must be nearly thirty years now, reading the book ?Flowers in The Attic?, by Virginia Andrews. I was utterly enthralled and had to stay up until 4.00 in the morning as there was no way I could sleep until I had finished the book. I didn't want to fly as I had a very bad experience on my GAP year after a flight and wanted to be relaxed at all times on our honeymoon. After long hours searching on the internet we decided to book a Cosmos Tour called Cosmopolitan Europe. It lasted 14 nights and 15 days and would start in London and end there too. Booking with Cosmos was easy enough once we got speaking to the right person. Cosmos-it's out of this world?

Advantages: fairly cheap, good food, all you can eat, good atmosphere
Disadvantages: you only get a two hour sitting and there's nowhere to enjoy a nice drink afterwards.

...Cosmos is a large, spacious, modern restaurant set on the corner of 'Disneyland' (a row of clubs and food restaurants at the bottom of Swindon Town Centre). So straight away, this restaurant gets a lot of attention as it's close to all of the ammenities, and the local bus and train stations. As if that wasn't enough, the place has a wonderful atmosphere with everyone chatting and eating and letting the alcohol flow. As well as the fact that this restaurant boasts a mouth-watering, original chinese food buffet, all for the simple price of £12 per adult, and £6 per child.
