  Cotton Traders - A Good Source for Wardrobe Staples

Advantages: Easy to use. Good quality merchandise. Good service.
Disadvantages: Inconsistent fit. Clothing is functional and unexciting.

Tommee Tippee cotton bottom nappies

Advantages: Cheaper than dispoables
Disadvantages: upfront costs - nmine started to fray

...The concept of these nappies is good but the ones I bought started to fall apart. The nappies in this pack come in 3 sizes: size 1 = 4 - 11, size 2 = 8 - 17, size 3 = 15 - 32. They are constructed in 2 parts - a nappy liner, a nap cover with an optional top sheet. The top sheet is designed to be flushed down the toilet and stops solids going through onto the liner. The liner is washed after every change and the cover can be reused as long as it is not soiled. The nappy cover stays in place with adjustable velcro. The thing I found with these is that they can be a bit fiddly if you are out and about plus you obviously have to wrap the nappy and carry it round with you until you next go home unlike with a disposable. A drawstring bag is included for this. It is recommended that you wash the nappies you have accumulated...

Pricing These nappies cost £3.97 for 32 nappies. This is a lot less cheaper than other brands, and they contain more nappies per pack. You can also have the chance to buy 3 packs for £10.00, therefore saving lots of money on something which is a must not a want! Examples of other nappies are as follows based on prices from Boots: Boots Own Brand - £3.99 (32 in pack) Pampers - £3.79 (18 in pack) As you can see, own brands are almost identical in price, and known brands are more expensive as you are paying for less nappies. ...I bought several of these to try and I have not been overly impressed. They do the job okay, but start to leak if baby does a large wee or left on overnight. Compared with the Kushies Ultra these nappies are not near as good. When compared with the Kushies classics, they are still not as good. I feel that it is a bit of a bother having to put on the shaped nappy and then the wrap. The booster that came with it was a bit bulky but did help with absorption. If you use the nappy with out the booster it was a fairly slim reusable nappy, which does appeal to some parents. I just was unable to get excited about these nappies, unlike the joy Kushies brings me. I think that using a flat terry nappy is on a par wiht this particular nappy, but will cost you more money than flats. I thought that for a fairly slim reusable, it seemed to...

I have shopped with them for some years for basic stuff like t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, but recently have found myself returning many items. And this is the rub - no free returns policy. By the time you've paid for post and packing both ways, you can be £5 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. The last item I bought was a pair of stretch denims, a bargain at £12. You probably saw them advertised - they were an insert in practically every colour supplement. But the sizing was miles out, even though it was nominally the same size as a pair I already have, and which fit perfectly. The no free returns policy is to keep prices down, and they do offer good value on their stock. The range is not wide, the colours are not subtle, but as clothes essentially...
