...& Rating = For a film which was released at the end of the 80's it is still okay, all but a little bit dated. The performances are adequate and are pretty typical for its era. As I have already mentioned, the biggest let down of the film is the cheesy dialogue which really does spoil the film. To be honest it is not a bad film but I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone purely down to the cheesy dialogue. If you really want a bit of 80's Swayze nostalgia then stick to Dirty Dancing. Ennerdale Country House Hotel Cleator

Advantages: Lovely location, excellent food and staff. Rooms were great.
Disadvantages: A bit remote, Noisy shredder in the toilet.

..., and I'm not sure if they are in all of the rooms, but it became bearable once we knew what set it off! There were ground floor rooms available for the less mobile. The grounds of the hotel were lovely and it would be an ideal location for a wedding. There were events on in the hotel every day and night of our stay and although we were in the room above, we were not disturbed at all. The staff remained polite and extra helpful although they were clearly busy. We booked this hotel with superbreak and got an unbeatable deal for the May spring bank holiday weekend. We would say that the Ennerdale country house hotel is not the ritz, but for great value for money, lovely central surroundings great food and rooms it's certainly worth a look....

In A House In The Country

...Lydney House hotel is a former Georgian Merchant's House, based a few minutes walk from the centre of the market town of Swaffham in Norfolk. It is a place that my parents always choose to stay at in the area, and for my step-dad's birthday last month, I got to visit it too. Swaffham is a pleasant enough town, with a nice church, the shops aren't great and there are a lot of fast food and takeaway type places, but generally it is a good location for seeing much of Norfolk. The hotel is a family run place and we were greeted by one of the owners, given our keys and shown our rooms. To be honest the décor throughout the hotel is a bit twee and chintzy for my personal taste, but it does suit the Country House style. Take me home country road

Advantages: Great artists, Fantastic recordings

...together with not as much meaning to them. But saying that i have enjoyed all sorts and types of music and tend to judge a song by its tune and lyrics rather that by the person who sung it. The country feel within its music has a passion that comes out in every song and the lyrics have to be listened to rather than just nodded along to as you listen to the tune. This is a fantastic album and with the many great country hits out there could have another one mabey two more made. The set comes with 3 CDs, each in there own cases within a card cover that houses them all together. There are 53 tracks altogether with two discs of 18 and the third with 17. ...I'm a fan of Bill Bryson. I like his dry, acerbic wit, and the way he bombards the reader with lots of dry facts yet manages to still keep it entertaining. The latest book of his I read (although not the latest written), was Notes from a Big Country. ...TomTom 720T SatNav devices remind me a little of mobile phones in the early nineties. They are a little bit pricey, a little bit niche and until recently the preserve of gadget freaks and those who drive for a living. These days they are a lot more prolific and I can foresee a time when they will be just as ubiquitous as mobile phones and everyone with a car will have one, and no doubt more than one if they have more than one car in the house.
