To find out any of these things out about a single country would normally entail looking through several books from each category. I have found an excellent compact little book that contains all these interesting facts about each country and more. It is an excellent A-Z reference guide to every country in the world. ...Whether you're are a die hard country fan, a rocker or just liked the singles doesn't make any difference you will be disappointed by this album which in trying to cover so many styles seems to have failed to do any of them justice. The final track "Rock this Country" probably best highlights what the intention was by linking proper rock to a hard country swing however in most cases the preferred styles are boring AOR and limp rhinestone country leading to a stodgy mess of sounds. Having said that the singles "Don't impress me much" and "feel like a woman" are both crackers - but two good songs do not make a album.... Read review

...Shania Twain is critcially acclaimed for repersenting country musical so marketbly and for showing talent and voice through her songs. This album is Shania's first and is self titled and self penned. The tracks flow on from each other. The tracks are meaningful and show country in a fantastic way. ''What Made You Say That'' is a great country track. It is essentially pop, this song is very catchy and quite good. The lyrics and chorus are brilliant. ''You Lay A Whole Lot Of Love On Me'' is a fantastic track. The song is instantbly likeable. This is catchy, shows Shania's voice, well written - Shania sing's well. Great production and appears to be very meaningful. ''Dance With The One That Brought You'' is very disco like and pop at the same time. This has the right amount of country mixed in as well. ...I wasn’t entirely sure which category this should belong. I have put it with Adidas because I know that they are a business that does this, but they are not the only ones! This opinion is about multinational corporations setting up in third world countries, I have strong feelings about this, and I think it’s a shame we let big multinationals exploit third world countries as they do. Multinational corporations like Adidas set up in poorer, less economically developed countries. The main reason they do is because of greed, they want to maximise their profits, with as little cost as possible. Multinationals are able to use the cheap land, and cheap labour force within the country. Also the third world countries Government is generally keen to attract business to the country, so often the Government reduces taxes for them... Read review

...As a Brummie living in Shropshire, some people may wonder why it is that I enjoy reading the Black Country Bugle so much? Well, I went to college on the very edge of the Black Country at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, which is now Wolverhampton University. Also, I have relatives who live in Dudley which is very much in the heart of the Blakc Country. Why was it called the Black Country? Simply because of all the smoke and grime form the thousands of small manufactories throughout the area. It is probably not far from the truth that in every back yard throughout the Black Country there was a workshop where skilled craftsmen and women made chains, pins, needles, nails, screws, nuts and bolts, made castings using cupola furnaces, made guns, polished metal goods, etc., etc. Now, back to the black Country Bugle. ...Is there anybody out there who could not receive Channel five before but now can, when they first went to air they promised that within five years the whole country would be able to receive it but so far nothing. Surely under their licence agreement coverage for the whole country had to be guaranteed in a certain time and if this is not met then surely channel five should have their licence revoked. It is said that eighty per cent of the country can not receive it and this is just not good enough. As for the programme content I cannot comment maybe in a few years when they get around to installing some new transmitters.... Read review
