...What is Discovery Cove? Discovery Cove is an outstanding all day experience, the park is outdoors and is set out like a tropical island with Beaches, reefs, lagoons, caves and much more. ...I have visited Discovery cove twice now, it is an amazing place. It is expensive but well worth it. It does pay to look around however but on average you could expect to pay aprox £140 for the dolphin experience and £80 without, make sure you get the double bungle where you get free entry to either Busche Gardens or Seaworld. There has to be at least one Dolphin swim experience to book. When you arrive in reception you are greeted by really friendly staff in a beautiful reception area. At this point you are checked in and have your photo taken for your pass, you also get the opportunity to have your debit/credit card details put onto the pass so that you don't have to keep going back to your locker for your money. ...Since we first visited Orlando in 1993 my wife has wanted to "do" Discovery Cove and we finally did in June of 2009. Up to that point my knowledge of Discovery Cove was actually pretty spartan - in the main consisting of two points - (1) you get to swim with dolphins and (2) it costs a lot of money. Both these things turn out to be true, but the experience is actually a lot more. We arrived early (on a tip that early arrival meant an early allocation of the 'dolphin experience'*), in the event we were in the first group which consisted on the four of us (Myself, my wife and 2 girls 7 and 10) and 3 others. ...Discovery Cove is the latest theme park in Central Florida, However unlike other theme parks there are no roller coasters or rides this is because here you get to swim with tropical fish, feed tropical birds and the main attraction is the chance to swim with dolphins. On arrival to the park we had to check-in this where we collected our security passes and were allocated a time for our dolphin swim. Next we were given a short tour around the park which is based on a tropical island where we had a complimentary photo taken. After this we collected our free hire swim gear:- wetsuit, snorkel (which you can keep), mask, sunscreen and for non-swimmers a life vest, we were then able to do as we pleased. ...I was brought one of these ipod shuffle, 1 gb for Christmas. Ｉhave previously owned an ipod nano and have to say that I much prefer the shuffle, I have found it much more easy to use and more easy to attach to my clothing whilst using it in the gym. The battery life lasts ages, at least 7 hours and can be charged up by a wide variety of methods so its very easy to do so whatever the circumstances. It holds approximately 240 songs which is adequate for my needs, and itunes makes it very easy to chop and change the tracks I want on there quickly by connecting to the computer by a usb cable. ...When I upgraded my mobile phone, with the upgrade I also got 2 free tickets to see pirates of the caribean (sorry can never spell that word!) and a free Ipod Shuffle. I thought this was great, I was getting the new phone I wanted with freebies, it was even better because I needed a new Ipod as my previous ones were forever breaking, but to tell the truth I didn't have much hope for the Ipod Shuffle either. At 1.62 inches long and weighing half an ounce this tiny ipod is the worlds smallest music player! Although it is so tiny it holds 1GB, which is about 240 songs, which is more than 120 that the old ipod shuffle could hold. The amount of songs that it can exactly hold depends on the size of the song you are uploading to it. If you are uploading bigger files then you will fit less on and vice versa.
