We have been using cow & gate comfort milk for 2 weeks now as we found that our son was ending up with colic and constipation symptoms from the first milk. I have given the product 4 stars as it is exceptional for reducing the uncomfortable symptoms my son was suffering with, however the effects from using the milk are lets say unpleasant...

AdvantagesEasy for baby to digest, great easy to use packaging

DisadvantagesNone that I can think of yet!

...cold or hot water - we like to mix feeds up before use rather than store in the fridge and it is easy to do this with Cow and gate as it mixes completely even with tap cold water. I hate the taste of all formula milks but my baby seems perfectly ok with it and gulps it down happily. He has put on a good amount of weight and is healthy. The powder is priced much the same as other leading brands...

...and Gate is one of th ebetter known baby milk formulas but it isn't the best on the market. Midwives tend to recommend the use of Aptimal as it's the closest to breast milk. When we used this formula my baby ended up very sick. She brought it straight back up and it wasn't a pretty sight!
