...I have used O2 as my phone network provider for over eight years now (dating right back from when they were initially BT Cellnet!). O2 pay as you go offers!

Advantages: Lots of offers.
Disadvantages: no more than any other network

...I have had pre pay mobiles for the last seven years. Mainly because I know how much I'm spending, and when it's gone I can't get into debt with it???? Lord knows what I would be like with a contract! I have been on many different networks, including Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin. And thus far I have found 02 to be the best network. Here are my reasons why - O2 offer reasonable tariffs, and have lots of offers. You can take advantage of every offer which does not cancel out any of the previous offers you already have on your account. The offers they have and the information on how to get them a printed further on in this review. O2's signal have always been very good where ever I have been, I have even used it in Spain without a problem. But obviously there are some place's that other networks do have a better signal...

Advantages: The eye catching design and the amazing LCD display

Breathe O2 into your phone!

Advantages: EDGE, MMS included in price, free voicemail, great customer service, reception, and value for money
Disadvantages: Not too clear that you could get 1000 texts, quite hefty charge for 0800 no's

...Having done the rounds of some of the other Mobile providers I realised that the deal I was getting with Orange wasn't so good. Looking over the various contracts and deals it was clear that O2 online deals were some of the best to be had. Advantages: brilliant..thats it

...I have been with o2 for around 5 years now, I was previously with Orange Pay as You go, I wanted to stay on a Pay as You Go mobile so I decided to get an O2 Genie Sim, at least then I would get 300 free texts a month!!! ~~~~~ Genie Sim~~~~~~ This is a Sim card which is exactly the same as a basic Pay as You Go Sim, only providing you top up at least £10, you will receive 300 free text messages a month!! Therefore if you first ever top your phone up on the 1st of the month, and you top up during that month, you will receive your next set of free texts on the 1st of the next month. The texts you don't use within that month do not roll over into the next month. Communicating couldn't be easier! (O2)

Advantages: Excellent network coverage, quick Broadband speeds
Disadvantages: Handset deals not always as competitive

...I first became an O2 customer when at university 7 or so years ago. Having just received my student loan, I thought "why not get a new phone". In hindsight, it was probably not a very wise option, but being young and naive it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm pleased to say though, that the service I received from O2 was excellent. I initially took out their cheapest contract for approximately £15 a month with a shiny new Nokia handset (this was quite a while ago don't forget so deals were better). Not being the biggest talker on the phone, I opted for a text message deal where I got around 100 texts a month.
