...The Bluetooth S9 headset retails at a around £100 and after about 3 months of use I am fairly well impressed with its performance. Tired of loops of wire and fiddly controls when using a hands / free? Then this is for you. Setup. After about 2 -3 attempts I managed to get a Bluetooth connection between Phone ( Motorola V8) and headset. This connection delivered a strong signal to my ears and made my play lists ( mostly light classical music with a few of Sinatra's offerings mixed in) really come alive. Stereo effect has a very slight bias towards the left hand speaker, but I'm putting that down to my 69 years old Mk. I lug 'oles, not performing as they used to! General Performance. Overall very good. PROVIDING one either mounts the Phone in a car holder or places it within arm's length on a table the reception...

If the headset fits - wear it! S9 headset

...Motorola S9 Bluetooth stereo active headset I received this free with the new Razr2 phone and am really impressed with the quality of sound. Initially I had a perfectly serviceable old BodyGlove ear piece which came with all the usual issues like occasionally dropping out of a call, at times not being heard or not being able to hear and running out of battery quite quickly. I assumed this was the norm! Comfort The weight is very light (1.14 oz) and, if you have an average head size, sits very comfortably round the back of your head. The ear buds do not go right into your ear but sit just inside. Considering the part that sits over the top of your ear is inflexible, it does not rub at all. Cowon's wonderful little PMP

Advantages: Small player, huge touchscreen, packed with features.
Disadvantages: Maybe not as pretty as some, awkward stylus.

I took the risk of choosing a product that can only be purchased over the internet, and which is made by a company, Cowon, which I had not heard of before. Advantages: Battery life, excellent sound, ease of file transfer, customizable themes, SD slot

...Being a bit of a self confessed gadget geek, something that seems to be on my annual to do list is the purchase of a new MP3 player. Being something that I use on a daily basis, the sound quality had started to become more of an issue to me than the features of the player. Since it is for listening to music after all, I wanted to really make the most of it. I done my usual Internet research and when I googled the words 'sound quality', I was happily pointed in the direction of the Cowon D2. What more could you want?

Advantages: Fantastic quality on video, audio, photos and text. Loads of extras built in
Disadvantages: Could have a larger hard drive but i'm just being picky!

...up for this. You can actually use the Cowon as a mass storage device like USB key when you have to move exceptionally large files. You can also use it as a USB host. By using a little adaptor included, you can use the cable used to hook up your other device (ie. camera) with the computer, to connect with the Cowon itself and download files directly. This may help on holidays where large numbers of photos are taken and the memory card is constantly filling up. =-Video-= Of course, i have to say something about the video quality. In short, it is gobsmacking. It is a widescreen so any 16:9 format videos work brilliantly. (You actually have the option to extend any 4:3 to a 16:9 ratio and vice versa.) The whopping 4 inch wide screen (480x272 pixels with 16,000 colours) is brilliant. I can safely say that i have watched many films on this screen...

A great multimedia player

Advantages: Looks nice, will play anything you throw at it, excellent video quality

...I bought the Cowon A2 about a year ago and I must say that I am very impressed with the product. It is quite expensive compared to other portable video players out there and the hard drive is rather small also (20 & 30GB) but these things aside, the Cowon A2 is a great player. The Cowon A2 is comfortable in the hand with the buttons just at the right place if you are right-handed. Although some might say the Cowon A2 is quite heavy, I personally didn't find this. The player is attractive, a mix of white and silver, but is not as simplistic as say the iPod. The words 'Portable Multimedia Player' are written on the front which make the Cowon A2 look more technical. Navigating the player is a breeze although the joystick is not the most sturdy I have every used. There are also four other buttons, labelled 'Back', 'A', 'B' and 'C...

...should it get scratched. An ample amount of video codecs can be read, not as much as Cowon's top of the range, but still above average. Ease of use: I've used iPods, and this player is neither better nor worse. One thing I like is that instead of 'spinning counter/clockwise' to select tracks, you just drag the list in the intuitive direction. The touch screen implementation is not as incredible as the iPod Touch's one(Apple really nailed that), but it's still very enjoyable and precise enough to be used with your thumb, even though a stylus is supplied. It has three hardware buttons on top of it for changing volume/track and going back through menus. Extras: a scientific calculator, support for flash lite applications, and a dictionary. Spiffy! The interface can also be customized, both by changing images for buttons and backgrounds...

Speechless. It's amazing!

Advantages: Ipod Killer, Looks Stunning, Light, Accessories

...scale! Not sure of any use of this but shows the companies put a great deal into this. The input gets saved into a RECORD folder and it automatically named with the syntax of ENC*** where *** denotes a 3 digit number 3) Microphone. The same as above except the recording gets saved into a VOICE folder *****MANUAL***** The Manual comes in many different languages. I?ve got to say I found it quite confusing until I decided to actually sit down and read it. Once I did this it tells me all I need to know, it even gives me annotated pictures along with a diagram on which button to press. The trouble-shooter is good too. What?s more I found out it comes equipped with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY!
