Good little printer

Advantages: small, easy, cheap, good quality (for a col. laser)
Disadvantages: smallish paper tray

...Good little colour printer! Network ready, works well with my Mac and PC over ethernet. Installed easily on both. Initial toner cartridges are not full capacity, but mine ran to around 950 pages when black, followed shortly but magenta and cyan ran out. Tip for using this printer: switch on the supplies warning override. It was telling me to replace toner at around 600 pages, I got 350 pages more before needing too! Use: using this for short run direct mail and flyers, lots of pictures and colour. With Edge Control set to light this is just fine. Not quite as smooth as the commercial printer I use for digital but acceptable, and we're promoting photography services mainly. Prints card up to 220gsm OK. Also duplexes well (work and turn). An expert toner

Advantages: Gentle

...Boots expert sensitive toner I like the Boots expert range and find they suit my skin and cause no nasty reactions, so when this was on special offer at half price I naturally bought it. The Hypoallergenic toner has been specially formulated for sensitive skin and contains aloe vera to soothe the skin. It will apparently sweep away the last traces of make up so that skin is clean and ready for moisturising. It is frangrance and lanolin free and dermatologically tested so i am ready for something very gentle as promised. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING... Review of Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner

Oki toner cartridge - Professional, excellent quality printing.

Advantages: Professional quality. Simple to change, good colour
Disadvantages: Expensive, not sure if it is recyclable

...I have been using the Oki toner cartridges for apporximately 12 months. In my opinion the quality is fantastic, clear and precise. When a notice pops up telling me to replace the cartridge it can be ignored for quite a considerable time, even when running low on certain colours I have still found that the quality is good. When the time comes that the colour reproduction is not good enough then as long it is not for an important document I have found that by just simply removing the cartridge, shaking it about a bit and replacing it, it can bring the colour back to life and will add extra life to it.On the whole I feel it produces professional print quality. I think it is an expensive item but have not compared the longevity against an alternative product....

It's simply a toner!

Advantages: great clean feeling, sooths spots

...Having fallen in love with simple's light daily moisturiser I decided to try the travel size toner. Now bearing in mind I had never used a toner before (sorry to all those girls screaming!) I really love this product! I am now hooked and use it twice daily and I am disgusted that I didn't use toner before! For all of you who don't... you better start! For years thinking that after I had washed my face all the dirt was gone, imagine my disbelief when I used this toner and discovered all the makeup and dirt that was STILL on my face! Spritz-on Toner For All Skin Types

Advantages: Leaves skin feeling really fresh and cool, soft and smooth, doesn't dry or strip skin

...I bought this on recommendation from my beauty therapist. This is not something I would normally do, especially as I don't really like the Dermalogica range, but knowing the damage that alcohol based toners that you put on cotton wool and swipe across your face can do, this sounded like a good investment. It costs around £20 for a 250ml bottle, but as usual shop around and you may find it cheaper. Dermalogica say this refreshing blend of ingredients gives you critical hydration. It contains Lavender extract to soothe and purify, Balm Mint and Aloe Vera to cool and soften, extracts of Arnica and Cucumber to refresh and condition and moisture-binding proteins to allow for more efficient moisture absorption. Dermalogica Multi Active Toner- all skin types

Advantages: Lasts ages, refreshing, easy to apply, no need for cotton wool, great for the skin

...Dermalogica Mulit Active Toner can be used on any skin type. It comes in a useful pump action type bottle which you can spritz on. It is light, refreshing and hydrates your skin and smooths the surface. It has a pleasant smell and contains lavender, mint and arnica to help condition the skin and prepare it for more moisture absorption. It conatins no artificial fragrance or colour. After cleansing you can spritz this spray all over your face and neck. You need to keep your eyes closed for this. Dermalogica then suggest that you follow this imediately with their moisturiser. At last, a toner that works.

Advantages: Body Shop, doubles up as make up remover, hydrating.
