...About the DVD PanDaemonAeon was originally released onto VHS video in 1999 and was released on DVD in 2002. The main features on this DVD are based around the "From the cradle to enslave" music video which was directed by Alex chandon, the same person who directed many other cradle of filth videos and documentarys including the full length movie; Cradle of fear. The DVD contains two versions of "from the cradle to enslave". One is a clean version and the other uncensored. There is also a "Making of" video and a live performance filmed at the London Astoria on June 5th 1998. The tracklisting for the show is as follows; 1. Dusk and her embrace 2. Cradle and All - James Patterson

Advantages: Excellent story and believable characters will keep you hooked
Disadvantages: Two page long chapters seem a bit pointless to me

...Cradle and All by the best selling author James Patterson is a brilliant novel, full of suspense, action and, rather oddly, theology. Not being an incredibly religous person, I was in two minds as to whether I was going to like this book or not, but it turned out to be rather lighter on the religion than i expected (i.e. I could understand the plot without having to look things up in the Bible!). Also, the chapters in this book are only usually two pages long for some bizzare reason. It seems a bit pointless to me, but others may disagree. Anyway, onto the story: Cradle and All is based on the legend of the Virgin birth from the Bible. In the story, two young girls called Colleen and Katheleen both concieve although they are both still virgins. Both girls are Catholic, and Colleen attends a strict Catholic school in a quiet Irish...

midian by cradle of filth

Advantages: outstanding lyrics and music art
Disadvantages: none every track is great, a good investment.

...this is the first cradle album i purchased back in 2003 and have been a fan of their music ever since. midian for me signaled that cradle of filth had grown from there early work which never really made it too the standard of midian. the lyrics are thought provoking and excellently crafted, the album possesses some of cradles timeless classics, like her ghost in the fog and death magic for adepts which are still released and get airtime on scuzz/kerrang. i would very much recommend getting this album if you of a darker nature or appreciate great music, Danny filth's lyrical genius, and awesome vocal range will blow you away, definitely one that you will want keep unscratched in its case. go get it....

The Butterfly Garden Papasan Cradle Swing (Pink)

Advantages: It is pretty much the only Pink All-in-one swing that cradle swings too at a push of a button

As a parent of a "colic child" I was at my wits end, sleepless nights, constant pacing, swaying, bouncing, rocking and crying! My little girl would not sleep in her bed at all in fact the only place she would sleep was on mummy upright or in mummy?s arms in bed so she could be rocked back to sleep at her own demand! Cradle catastrophe!

Advantages: Easy to clean, nice detachable toys
Disadvantages: Difficult to secure baby in comfortably

...The Mothercare bouncing cradle I had for my baby had a different fabric design the the one shown here, but in design it was the same, with the 3 toys hanging down from a bar which arced over the top. I paid about £20 for mine, with high hopes that it would prop baby up comfirtably whilst I was getting on with odd jobs. After 6 months I ended up giving it away - my daughter HATED it! The cradle is relatively simple to put together, with the instructions showing how to slot the bits on the base into the side pieces. I did notice that the ends of the pieces were quite rough before they slotted in though - take care! The problem was mainly that my daughter never seemed to be able to get comfortable. The 3 point harness system is simply useless at holding a baby in place, and she would end up at all sorts of strange angles. The one we had...

...I am not particularly a fan of Martin Amis, I think he has enough admirers already, but I do appreciate his ability as a writer. When I first read this book I did so with a kind of dismissive attitude because for me the idea of writing or describing a life backwards had already been on numerous occasions. I remember reading in particular a short story by J.G. Ballard from one of his collections about the events surrounding an individual's life - from the grave to the cradle so to speak. I also believe Harold Pinter used the technique to the same effect in his 1970s stage play "Betrayal". Cradle Of Filth - Thornography

Advantages: Unfortunaely, there's not much better around!
Disadvantages: Album full of fillers

...What has happened to COF? They burst onto the scene with some ferocious black metal and somehow became a fusion of death metal and pop. There's no doubting that they can produce great, original music, but have not done so now for a few years - the most recent album to stand up to scrutiny being the underrated Damnation And A Day. From the sporadic highs and originality of Midian to the excellent Nymphetamine, they only seem capable of producing one good track per album nowadays and then complete the CD with fillers. Unforunately, this latest offering does not even boast one great track. I appreciate the effort in Temptation and I like the fact that they are still trying to push the boundaries and hope they continue, but, franlkly it is awful! Such a shame for a once great band. Hopefully they will regain their form, but...
