Afternoon with a cream tea!!

...Today has been a chilly day here in Scotland - again!! This afternoon i put the kettle on and made myself a large mug of tea. Just the thing to curl up on the sofa with on a day like this. I searched the cupboard for something to have with my tea. I didnt want anything chocolatey so that was the kitkats and single twix's out of the question. Then i find a packet of Fox's Rich Tea Creams. One of my favourit plain biscuits. I only dicovered the existance of these biscuits a few months ago whilst browsing the aisles of Somerfield. Review of Fox´s Rich Tea Creams

Let's call it a custard cream

Advantages: Taste of white chocolate and vanilla; lovely and sweet
Disadvantages: A part from the unhealthy side not alot really; perhaps thicker filling

...Rich Tea creams are Fox's variation on the classic Custard Cream, which happen to be one of my favourite bikkies. My step-dad bought one of those huge boxes of broken biscuits and as I was sifting through the mounds of crushed fruit shorties and digestives, I found these little delights in various pieces. Okay, finding a whole one I can now describe the product. Tea Creams are 6cm long and 2cm wide (the same size as my little finger to put that into perspective). The edges are crimped and there's a nice wigly patterned border running around the biscuit with the words 'FINGER CREAM' stamped in the middle on both sides. They consist of, like a custard cream, two thin biscuits stacked ontop of a creamy filling, The filling is very thin at about 0.1cm (roughly the same thickness as a ruler) but this doesn't compromise on the taste...

...Before I bought Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream I had read about it in magazines with lots of Celebrities citing it as one of there "Must have" beauty products. As ever my inquisitive nature took over and I decided to invest in a tube to find out what I have been missing. So of I went to my local Debenhams and asked the Beauty Advisor for a tube of this recommended cream. The Cream cost me £18 for a 50ml tube. ...This cream comes in a tube and initially seems quite expensive (when I bought my last tube it cost £17). It states that it is for use on chapped or weather burned skin ? basically for use anywhere on the body. It is a brilliant lip salve ? it may seem expensive but I can?t remember the last time I bought a tube ? it must be at least 2 years ago. The cream never goes off and lasts for ages as you only need to use the tiniest amount each time. Another thing it is very good for is when you have a sore red nose during a cold. It soothes and fixes dry skin extremely quickly and in my mind is great value for money....
