Creative Inspire 5.1 sound system

Advantages: Quality sound for a low price
Disadvantages: Short rear speaker cables

...are too short, you can buy extension leads but it would have be nice if Creative just made them only a meter or two longer, this is a common problem in all surround systems I've encountered, everything else is perfect. A sound card or onboard audio with 5.1 sound option is required to take full advantage of the system but thats becoming a standard now on most devices. I use my PC for everything from movies, music, and games and I'm completely satisfied and have been for the past three years, when or if they break down then I'll upgrade. The system can be bought for about £35, they seem pretty rare now, looks like they've been replaced by newer versions. Best bet is to keep an eye out for them on ebay....

Creative Inspire T6100 5.1 Speakers

Advantages: Great sound quality, great design and lovely bass.
Disadvantages: The wires are a bit short.

...If rewievs wouldnt require such an amount of words only one would say all thats needed. AMAZING. Firstable, the subwoofer is wonderfull and its easy to confiqure, I also love the surround sound of 5:1. Installing was easy and the stickers that you stick into wires to remember which one is which makes the confiquring lotsa easier later. The design is also awesome, the spekers aint boxes as usually, they are designed well and they look stylish. The colours, black and silver suit the speakers well. The speakers can be placed to the table or to wall. Theres anti-slip rubber on the bottom of every speaker stand so they wont fall from table. You can also plug in your headphones so you wont disturb anyone for example at night. Only bad thing in these speakers is the wiring, which is too short for placing the speakers around you. Value for money Creative 5.1 system

Advantages: Price, easy instillation
Disadvantages: loose quality at high volumes, not the best lookin but are OK

...After recently getting a new laptop and finding that the inbuilt 5W speakers were absolutely awful, so i decided to connect these speakers to the laptop. Having an overall output power of 48Watt they were surely going to be better than what i had. Creative are one of the most well known makers of speaker systems and it was with this background that i bought them for around £100 a couple of years around. The setup is 5.1 surround sound (although only 2.1 works with my laptop but the whole system does work on my brothers PC). There are 5 satellite speakers, each of which are wired and have an output of 6W. For this output they are reasonably small, being only 4" tall and 3" deep. Advantages: So cheap, great sound quality for it's power,tweeters great design

...I only needed a cheap 5.1 sound system, cheap and decent to play occasional music,and for 5.1 games and I was not expecting such an excellent product. Since i'm a dancer I love creative output

Advantages: Best quality,easy to install,cheap but no compromisation in quality
Disadvantages: Not much extra features

...I'm a creative fan since i bought my first product which i already reviewed.i was very impressed by the creative output so i bought creative 5100,it has 12watt subfwoofer and 5 ,6watt per satellite.The best for my home theatre to produce surround sound effect.it was easy to install takes me around a hour to settle and place'em and full installation.And then when i played my first sond...wooooow,isaw into another world...Since I'm a dancer creative is alwaya my choice any song played on creative will make you legs go cha-cha-cha. Play high quality games,listen to dolby digital,watch your fav movie and enjoy the pleasure of surround sound effect you got from it. Creative...is that all i review?!

Advantages: Superb sound quality, stylish, surround sound!
Disadvantages: Wires, wires everywhere

...of the whole Creative Inspire 5:1 range, these is the most basic...the least attractive (yet still not ugly) but nonetheless, a lesser product than the others... I'll start with the sub...extremely powerful in comparison to the satellites, and witht he bass control inconveniently located on the back...however, with a lot of the music and films i play and watch on these i keep the bass to a minimum as it tends to easily override the other sounds which is obvously no good! The design is quite good, all in black, with the sub in a box shape and the satellites in an arc shape... The sattelites produce a surprisingly high volume despite their small-ish size and te quality of sound produced is of good quality, as well as having varying lenths of cable for your front and back speakers, which for the back in particular allow for good spread to create...

...The Creative Inspire P5800 system is Creative's solution to their competitor's modern home entertainment range of products and whereas there are certainly more benefits than inconveniences to this system, there are just a couple of things that should be noted. Packing The 5.1 speaker system is shipped in a rather non-descript box with one section for the 5 satellite speakers (black) and another for the subwoofer. Cables that allow you to connect the speakers to the subwoofer are attached permenantly to the speakers, however fortunately the subwoofer is stand-alone. The cable length for the front speakers is fairly generous, however, the rear speakers need a bit more length on them and the center speaker cable will need to be wound around itself several times. There is also a cable to connect the subwoofer to your sound card...
