Charging: To charge the MP3 you use a USB cable which is provided - the USB is on the short side (a couple of inches) although it's easy enough to buy a longer replacement if need be. There is no mains charger provided which is a downside as you may come across instances where there isn't a computer available to charge from, this is something I feel should be addressed by Creative. Conclusion: Although this MP3 has many plus points compared to the negative, it's the reliability and durability that drags it down to 3 stars. However I took a chance on it and even though I had to have the first one replaced - I do not regret choosing the creative zen 32gb to replace my old mp3....

Creative's pride the new Creative Zen

Advantages: Excellent audio, loads of features, price
Disadvantages: A bit sloppy video

.... The bass is nothing less than booming, the highs and the mid-ranges are beautifully quantized to give a mindboggling audio reproduction. I have tried lots of typical tracks and I am prepared to admit happily its audio performance is very close to being flawless. It is interesting to note that Creative Zen has the capability of shutting off distortion at high volume and at lows Bethoven sounds heavenly and Crosby Still Nash and Young sounds gorgeous. Supports ACC files, WMA and proteced WMA, WAV, MP3 so it has easy access to iTunes Plus store but sorry no to Apple DRM. Ration for this section: 9/10 VIDEO PERFORMANCE: In the beginning I mentioned that Creative Zen supports 16.7 million colors yet the vIdeos look quite bothched up and washed out on it?s screen. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish.
