...For the past few years, my sony radio-cassette walkman has done me a great service. But when the headphones broke a few months ago, I decided to go online and buy some new ones. After browsing, I soon realised that the average cost of headphones would probably be better spent on a brand new portable music player. The headphones come free, and the retro look of my walkman, although cool, was getting a bit tired. What struck me about the CREATIVE MUVO TX FM most, was how much value for money you get for the relatively cheap £60 price. Not only that, but the excellent reviews it was getting. Advantages: Size, price, quality of sound
Disadvantages: Space, its big but it wont take your whole harddrive.., headphones arent amazing

...apart, and I really wasnt impressed with the sound quality I was getting through the mp3 player. I asked for refund, and then went back to my first instincts and bought the muvo tx 256 mb. Immedialty I was impressed with the build quality. It came with a belt clip headphones ( that I would reccomend you get a new decent pair, as they are realitvely poor, but that is not a major problem) and a change of cover, aswell as the software to install. Installation on that subject was very easy and simple, as it is usb, you can start using it straight away in XP without installing the drivers, it just works as a removeable drive. Creative MuVo TX MP3 player review

Advantages: Quick to upload tracks, small, light weight
Disadvantages: small memory, frustrating to use

...Pros: First things first: This model is basically a usb-pen. This makes it fantastic for uploading tracks, you just plug it straight in. This might not sound like much but trust me it can be very annoying if you have to fiddle around with wires at the back of your computer (like you have to do with an I-pod). Another great thing about this is that you can just use as a USB-pen. I store Word/acrobat files on mine and its fine. Very handy, your MP3 and USB in one. This thing can take a bit of damage. Mine got thrown down the stairs and didnt get a scratch. It's beacuse the TX is so light. Cons: But the small memory is a problem. If you're like me you pretty much just download anything that takes your fancy. This is fine if you've got about a 1G or anything more than that. But you'd be surprised how quickly you can reach 128 MB...

Creative Muvo TX 128mb mp3 player

Advantages: Small, compact. Easy to use and upload files, can be used as a normal flash drive
Disadvantages: Memory is a bit on the small side, a drop down menu would be nice

...The Creative Muvo TX is a small, affordable, easy to use mp3 player. I bought mine in January this year, and have really enjoyed using it! I have been very pleased with the feature of just dragging and dropping files like a normal flash drive would, as most mp3s come with annoying software that you have to install, but with this i just drag and drop the files i want! Alternatively, it is possible to syncronise it with windows media player 10, so i can open up my favorite playlist and just drag and drop files. A very creative Mp3 player

Advantages: small, has a a clear fm radio, size of storage.

...I purchased this Mp3 Player from Currys I decided on 1GB flash memory storage because it would hold at least 16 hours of MP3 music or 32 hours of WMA music. This equates to around 320 MP3 song and 450 MWA files which I believe is the easier and better way to load files on to the flash memory. The Muvo is small light and compact and reuqires 1 one "AAA" battery, it also has a microphone that allows a voice recording function of which you can record 64 hours. I havent tried this but I assume this is without any song material on the memory. The Player also incorperates 5 band graphic equaliser and 4 presets to suit your taste in music, a thing I have noticed against my cheaper old mp3 oplayer is the excellent sound quality of the creative brand. Advantages: One of the most amazing mp3 players i have ever owned

...I have owned this player for a good few years now i the competitive nature of this player still fights off other players on the market today. I originally purchased the player as a replacement for creative muvo 64mb player, (the storage on the 64mb player just wasn't sufficient for my needs). This 512mb player can store pleanty of songs and play them without jumping tracks; this is due to its solid state memory (meaning there are no moving parts which can physically jump out of place). The player is perfect for running/gym as its small enough to comfortabley hold in your hand while exercising. It comes with an armband holder which you attatch the player to if you don't want to hold it. I did have an issue with the player crashing and not turning on. Advantages: Compact, only requires 1 AAA battery, In-built radio, independant delete fuction

Requires Creative thinking

Advantages: Great handy player
Disadvantages: Creating playable files isn't so easy

...on Dixons website to buy the 256mb MuVo version for £39.99 (including postage). I did debate whether 256mb was going to be big enough. There are some much bigger players around but Creative reckon you can easily get 80 tracks on 256mb and I realised when I'd dropped off tracks I didn't want that would be 6 or 7 CDs worth and plenty for me. I also debated whether to get a more expensive version that can be recharged from your USB port but I decided as I'm only playing it on the bus to and from work a cheaper battery only version would be enough (and they reckon it has about 15 hours battery life which is pretty good as MP3 players go).
