Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Advantages: Voters stunning
Disadvantages: none
...I am always very confident that the product with the word "extreme" in their names. By using a computer, a product that is in line with the performance, reliability and well-supported. That is, either by the driver, easy installation, or other features that I need to use this product. All have a strange obsession with the name Xi-Fi Xtreme, Xtreme Sound.
I wonder, why change something that has been stable since 2001, the last time I think about the sound card? With names like "X-Fi Xtreme Gamer" is what really apart from a previous Sound Blaster sound card in 2001, because the voice I had never complained or irritated and great sound for all games, music, Internet chat.
I tried a lot for this computer so that the volume of a sound card is not a problem for me. For those who are interested in the plant, I am pleased to say that this...

One of the BEST choice for sound card.
Advantages: smaller size, usb connection support, 3D sound experience, very cheap, high SNR ratio.
Disadvantages: Does not support all OS, requires very powerful processor& ram,all features not works on XP
...process to do for normal pc users. But when you can use them as in external USB mode, then whole scenario gets much better.
INTRODUCTION OF THE PRODUCT
Creative Technology is one of the world?s distinguished companies for manufacturing computer MULTIMEDIA products. They are mostly famous for their outstanding quality and cheaper priced sound cards and graphics cards for computers. They launched the creative sound blaster X-FI first in August 2005.
Later they have revised and remodeled their product for more adaptability towards different operating system and more boastful sound quality.
SPECIFICATION
The X-FI terms stands for extreme fidelity, for maximum sound output with various tuneable options and add on external effects. Just because this product can plugged in with you system, via usb port, that?s why it also depends...

Creative Sound Blaster Connect
Advantages: Good sound, optical connections, complete bundle
Disadvantages: A bit light, stereo only via analogue
...It?s not always easy or convenient to open your PC to install a new soundcard. You may just not like the idea of physically opening the machine. It may be you are a laptop owner and plagued by their notoriously poor audio capabilities. In either case, if you need to upgrade your machine?s sound capabilities, the Creative SoundBlaster Connect is just what the doctor ordered
Installation
Being a USB device, you simply need to install the drivers, plug it in to a USB socket and away you go. The Sound Blaster Connect takes its power from the USB connection so no external power pack is needed which is a major plus point. My system has Windows XP and an existing onboard sound card but it's a bit average. After installation both the original sound card and the new external one worked fine but I decided to disable the onboard sound via...

yet another X-Fi model...
Advantages: Great Dolby/DTS decoder, excellent sound quality and gaming audio
Disadvantages: expensive
...This is the X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS endorsed by professional gamer Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS also features a glowing Fatal1ty logo on the soundcard and drive bay(!!!!!!).Err, ok, moving on....
First up, whats included in the package. You get the card, a 5.25 inch drive bay with various audio inputs and outputs which I wil detail later, and a remote that can be used to make changes to volume and other functions, also mentioned later. The installation CD contains drivers and also the following: Doom3 EAX patch, Audio Console, Creative MediaSource & DVD-Audio Player, DTS Neo:6, Karaoke Player, Smart Recorder, SoundFont Bank Manager, THX Setup Console, Vienna SoundFont Studio, Console Launcher, Volume Panel, WaveStudio, Creative Media Toolbox, Creative Diagnostics. What difference does this sound card make?
Advantages: superb sound, easy to control.
Disadvantages: can be harder to set up than lesser types.
...Ease of install
This is perhaps the best bit of all, installing the card is simple to a compatent user. It takes a while with all cables, and feeding them where you want them but once in, power on and install the lenghtly disk. The installation of the disk is the tricky card. You have to make sure that the card and speakers are properly connect before you do this (I found out the hard way). The installation of the disk with all drivers and programs does take a while but there is alot to install. I would recommend to update this via the excellent creative website which offers excellent support if needed, all you need to do is register your card.
Range of Features
WOW!
HUGE!
The lenghtly disk install as described does add alot to the computer. It adds programs for organising your music to controlling your sound. if you...

Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music - Jake's Review
Advantages: Amazing sound quality, great for gaming, looks cool, less lag/stuttering in games, transforms music
Disadvantages: Still driver issues and some problems in games, price may still be too steep for some
..., and the transfer your audio devices to the back of it. The only problems with 'installation' you might have is some of the drivers are fairly unstable, so get the newest ones out direct from Creative to be sure you experiance as little of this as possible.
I have been using P5800's and a Plantronics Gamecom1 headset and both had the sound sound increased greatly on products that were already of high standard (search them for reviews).
All in all its the perfect soundcard for anyone other then extreme autophiles, once the driver issues are sorted out there is nothing to worry about at all, you can even grab it at a decent price now aswell. I woudent say quite exellent value for money, because for some people its still way too much to spend on a soundcard, and there are very good options for cheaper.. the older audigy and soundblaster ranges are...

Fatal Flaws
Advantages: Under XP this is a great souncard for games and musicians.
Disadvantages: Under Vista there have been issues.
...The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality sound card was the best piece of equipment I could afford to buy when I made my latest PC. I'd gone for expensive and high-quality components because I use my machine for gaming. Gaming drives hardware manufacturers because ever more ambitious and demanding games software requires ever more powerful hardware.
The Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatality has 'XRAM' on-board that can take the load of your processor according to the advertising and that's supposed to result in an increased FPS in games. This explains, no doubt, why the letters 'FPS' complete its full name. Frames Per Second is what it refers to and the faster the FPS, the smoother the animation of complex images will be when you're playing a game. This was a big selling point. I went for a powerful processor; I went for a powerful...

Creative Sound Blaster MP3+ external sound card
Advantages: Good software bundle, cheap, works well.
Disadvantages: Only stereo out on analogue
...It's not always easy or convenient to open your PC to install a new soundcard. You may just not like the idea of physically opening the machine. It may be you are a laptop owner and plagued by their notoriously poor audio capabilities. In either case, if you need to upgrade your machine's sound capabilities, the Creative SoundBlaster MP3+ is just what the doctor ordered.
I've had mine a couple of years now so you'll probably be looking to eBay or similar if you want to get one now.
Installation
Being a USB device, you simply need to install the drivers, plug it in to a USB socket and away you go. The MP3+ takes its power from the USB connection so no external power pack is needed which is a major plus point when your computer corner is heaving with external power packs hanging out of wall sockets. My PC has Windows XP...

Out with iPod, in with Zen X-Fi
Advantages: Quality MP3 player, easy to use
Disadvantages: no Bluetooth, radio not DAB
...Firstly the model being reviewed is a Creative Zen X-Fi 8Gb (not 8GO)
I chose Creative because they have been in the PC soundcard business for over 15 years and have a very good reputation with soundcard technology.
The Zen X-Fi is a fantastic little MP3 player, which incorporates a video player, a picture viewer and a radio.
Price paid was £87 at Amazon.co.uk with free delivery.
Standard memory capacity for this model is 8Gb (about 2000 x 4mb songs), but there are also 16Gb (£120) & 32Gb (£199) versions.
It also has a SD/SDHC slot for increased memory capacity - an 8Gb SDHC card costs £10-£15
The SDHC does not integrate with the players own memory so your can't create a playlist with songs from the respective memories.
The Zen X-Fi looks very sleek and attractive, being about the size of a credit card, about 1cm thick...
