Advantages: Excellent audio, loads of features, price
Disadvantages: A bit sloppy video

.... The buttons sort of hangs, it just won?t respond-it makes me a razing maniac sometimes, but the audio is so good it sooths me down. The menu part has gone through changes but it does not affect me, because Creative Zen is the first Creative product I?m loving and using on regular basis.. OVERALL RATING:8/10. That, I think is excellent. I would have given it 9/10 but for my most annoying factor and vid mess up. Exellent buy: If you are interested in approximate prices, here they are: 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB £49.90 £81.00 £124.70 £155.90 £218.30 Quite reasonable, isn?t it? Try it out and have fun....

Creative zen

Advantages: reasonable price, looks good, dinky, good battery life, good sound quality.
Disadvantages: NONE:)

...i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal...

Review of Creative ZEN MX

Creative Zen Vision M 30GB

Advantages: Sound Quality, Photo and Video Features
Disadvantages: No charger

...I bought this as a replacement for my old Creative Zen 20GB Micro which died on me. I chose Creative again as I prefer Creative Zen's to IPod's for their functionality and music options ie they will accept MP3s, WMAs, AACs etc meaning you have more variety of where you get your music from. I love the look of this MP3 player with its blue lights and high resolution LCD screen. Other people might think it is slightly chunky compared to other models but that's never been a problem for me. I think it's yummy! Most of the features are the same as my previous Zen except of course this one is a 30GB (WOOHOO!) and you can download photos and videos to view on the extremely good high resolution LCD screen which is a nice viewing size. If you put the lock on MP3 player so that the screen is not used but the music still plays...

The Creative Zen is brilliant little device!

Advantages: Small, sleek and lots of features
Disadvantages: Buttons could be a bit tricky at first

...I received this device as a gift. I was a little unsure at first as I had never owned any kind of MP3 before. I was very pleasantly suprised to find it very easy to use and that it has unexpected features such as radio, photo and video. Personally I often use this on the train or the walk to work - the sound and video quality is excellent. I have often watched programs downloaded from BBC i Player and the quality is brilliant. The Zen comes with computer software which is very easy to install. You can also use i-tunes with this product, which is very handy. The only very slight gripe with this product is that I found the buttons a bit confusing at first... although saying that, I didn't read the instructions! This is a great alternative to an i-pod, personally I think it is better - easier to use and with more features....

creative zen gives the ipod nano a run for its money

...The Creative Zen, in my opinion, is a very good MP3 player which could quite easily give the Ipod nano a run for its money. The sound quality of the Creative Zen, I believe is far superior to that of an Ipod. Although it may not look as impressive, it is a neat looking piece of technology; very sleek and stylish looking. Also, It is neither masculine nor feminine and therefore suits everyone! The Zen also plays videos and again, the quality is good. It has a 2.5 inch screen, larger than the Ipod nano at 2 inches. The software that comes with the Creative Zen is really good, allowing you to put any file onto your Zen as it converts them for you. A massive advantage, in my opinion, is that the Zen comes with a SD card expansion slot so if you only buy the 4GB Zen, you can increase the capacity at a later date, up to 12GB which is better...

Creative Zen being too Creative

...I bought myself a Creative Zen Vision M to listen to my music collection. I chose this player due to the large storage capacity and video capabilities as well as the built-in FM radio tuner. Mine is the 60GB version, but the 30GB version is also available in a slightly smaller body. The player has a black front and a white back and doesn't look quite elegant. It has four buttons, each with an icon that glows a nice blue colour when pressed. Something unusual is that it has a vertical touch pad for navigation. I bought mine for £160 at the time when it first came out (60GB version) but the 30GB version seems to be selling for just over £100 on eBay. Creative zen Vision M

Advantages: Large support for video, Reliable, Excellent music player
Disadvantages: Larger than most MP3 players, hard drive so prone to wear over time i.e. crashing

...Having bought this MP3 over 2 years ago now i thought i should write a review seen as it is 2 years old and still remains an mp3 with functions some companies have forgotten are useful. The Creative zen vision M was made as a competitor to the ipod classic back in the day boasting a 2.5" screen, touch navigation and most importantly a wide range of video support. Firstly the video support. This for me is one of the best features of this mp3 player, with divx, xvid, mp4, avi support it still has more video support than the ipod touch. This is brilliant, every time i download a video i don't need to convert, all i do is slap it on the hard drive and i'm good to go. Video playback is excellent, although it is only a 2.5" screen the colours are vibrant and although small details cannot be seen it is an excellent on the go video player...

Zen Creative

Advantages: Sleek appearance. Not an i-pod. Good video capacity. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: No case - screen scratches easily. No function to edit playlists without connection to a computer.

...In my opinion the Zen creative is a great alternative to an i-pod. Personally I would rather not use i-tunes as I find it zaps the processing power of my computer so having an mp3 player that doesn't require the apple software is great. Plus it is more unique than having an i-pod. I think that the sound quality is excellent. Both the computer software and the player menus are really easy to navigate and use. The video quality and screen size on the player itself are impressive considering the small size of the player. Furthermore the player is aesthetically pleasing and the background theme can also be altered so it is possible to personalise the display! I also enjoy the inclusion of an fm-radio function. The only disadvantages to this otherwise distinctive and well-designed player are: 1) you have to be careful not to scratch...
