Charging: To charge the MP3 you use a USB cable which is provided - the USB is on the short side (a couple of inches) although it's easy enough to buy a longer replacement if need be. There is no mains charger provided which is a downside as you may come across instances where there isn't a computer available to charge from, this is something I feel should be addressed by Creative. Conclusion: Although this MP3 has many plus points compared to the negative, it's the reliability and durability that drags it down to 3 stars. However I took a chance on it and even though I had to have the first one replaced - I do not regret choosing the creative zen 32gb to replace my old mp3....

Zen Creative

Advantages: Sleek appearance. Not an i-pod. Good video capacity. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: No case - screen scratches easily. No function to edit playlists without connection to a computer.

...In my opinion the Zen creative is a great alternative to an i-pod. Personally I would rather not use i-tunes as I find it zaps the processing power of my computer so having an mp3 player that doesn't require the apple software is great. Plus it is more unique than having an i-pod. I think that the sound quality is excellent. Both the computer software and the player menus are really easy to navigate and use. The video quality and screen size on the player itself are impressive considering the small size of the player. Furthermore the player is aesthetically pleasing and the background theme can also be altered so it is possible to personalise the display! I also enjoy the inclusion of an fm-radio function. The only disadvantages to this otherwise distinctive and well-designed player are: 1) you have to be careful not to scratch...

Zen There Were None

...redundant. The Creative Zen 32GB is nice and small, fitting into your pockets; but it lacks all the things that consumers have come to expect within the last 8 months. Another problem with the Zen is its lack of suitable software. iTunes is one of the world's most downloaded music programmes - so the Zen software is not only outdated and slow, it also makes the Zen even more unappealing. Finally, the Zen lacks a touch screen - with the alternative of cheap plastic controls. The screen is small and lacking brightness; making this a useless product unless you literally don't want to look at your mp3 player. So in conclusion; i strongly advise you forget you ever heard of the 32GB Zen, and instead look in to an iPhone, iPod, or Archos player. There is absolutely no reason to buy this product - it is ridiculously overpriced...

Creative by name, Excellent by nature!

Advantages: Brilliant sound and picture quality; excellent memory capacity; ease of use is second to none.
Disadvantages: In my opinion, none.

Creative zen

Advantages: reasonable price, looks good, dinky, good battery life, good sound quality.

...i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal...

...the apple ipod touch 32GB is the best value for money in my eyes when it comes to versitility, durability and capacity although the capacity is put to shame by that of the ipod video which has about 100GB it is still plenty of space for all your application, music and video needs. versitility: the ipod touch contains an itunes app store with over 10,000 application to do anything form straightening a picture to practising guitar in cramped conditions, but if your not into those it also has thousands more practical apps such as a mobile internet browser and a scientific calculator. durability: I personaly have an ipod touch and form the time i got it i must have dropped it at least 20 times on concrete and stone floors until I finally made the clever descision to just buy a case but before that i found that the ipod touch can take...

...This Ipod is extremely nice looking and easy to use, just as the iphone it has the touch screen interface. Only it lacks the phone, camera and GPS. With it's 32gb capacity its the ideal choice for the music lover, because you won't find 32gb capacity iphones (just 16) and you can let it alone playing music in a party while not worrying about phone calls. I've had it for about 4 months now and absolutely love it, it has never failed or had any problems, also it has survived some falls with no scratches at all (the "delicate" looking glass screen can survive alomost any scratch without getting any marks), though i use a protective case which i also recommend you buy if your gonna have this baby. Extra feauters include WiFi internet, Youtube, Contacts, Agenda, Calendar, Alarms besides the Music and Video playing capabilities...
