As a cheap, small, easily portable MP3 player with a large enough memory to stop me from listening to the same songs every 5 minutes this serves it's purpose very well. Pros: - it looks cool; - it holds around 500 tracks depending on their size; - it's tiny; - sound quality and volume are good (even with the radio) - software allows for easy drag-and-drop quick uploads (although once you upload from one folder you can't upload more tracks or browse any until the upload is finished) Cons: - you need to download the software from the internet, so if you don't have a connection you have to risk using windows...

Zen Mozaic Review

Advantages: Lightweight, good sound from the speaker, nice user interface
Disadvantages: sometimes laggy, not great video quality

...of the album cover, if available. It would be nicer if the album cover was solid, and right in the center of the screen so that you could see it. The video quality on the Mozaic is not the nicest, but in my opinion you can cope with it if you have no other option. One other issue is that the transitions in different menus can occasionally get a little bit laggy. All in all this is a really great device, and as it is extremely cheap for an MP3 player, it is great value for money....

Creative Zen V Plus 2GB

Advantages: Small, easy to use, good pc software, superb battery life, FM radio tuner, DJ

...Right then, the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB is a very good player to me. I purchased this mp3+mp4 player just before Christmas and first impressions were great, instruction manual very useful so I got familiar with the player very quickly. There is a lot of software that can be put onto your PC but all I use is the Creative MediaSource 5 Organizer and the Zen V Series Media Explorer. But first you want to go onto the Creative product registration and register your product so your warranty becomes valid. Negatives: To start with, the headphones are a bit big and are like the Ipod headphones which have a very thin stalk on them so can break easily. Mine didn't break because I changed them straight away after realizing the sound quality wasn't very good and the headphones were too big and wouldn't stay in my ears, they kept falling...

Creative's pride the new Creative Zen

Advantages: Excellent audio, loads of features, price

The Creative ZEN Stone

...I bought this mp3 player as I was tired of always changing round the songs on my ancient 128mb player. I knew from friends that Creative were a decent brand so I had a look on the internet to see what sort of prices we were talking, and I was pleasantly surprised. I found this 2GB version of the Zen Stone for £25 over a year ago and in my opinion that is great value for money. The battery life is very good and the fact that it recharges via USB is very useful. To transfer songs all you need to do is connect the player to your computer and drag songs into the player's folder.. its as easy as that! The controls are straight forward, nothing fancy but from my point of view, this is all that's needed. The fact that there is no screen may put some people off but this was not the case with me as you can set in to random and hope...

...i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal...

Size: When I got the Zen V plus It was smaller than I had imagined it to be, It's palm sized but for me that was an advantage. it is also very light so very easy to use on the go. Ease of use The software that came with it was very easy to load and use on my computer and it came with what I felt a basic instruction manual.
