Creative Zen V Plus 2GB

...Right then, the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB is a very good player to me. I purchased this mp3+mp4 player just before Christmas and first impressions were great, instruction manual very useful so I got familiar with the player very quickly. There is a lot of software that can be put onto your PC but all I use is the Creative MediaSource 5 Organizer and the Zen V Series Media Explorer. But first you want to go onto the Creative product registration and register your product so your warranty becomes valid. Negatives: To start with, the headphones are a bit big and are like the Ipod headphones which have a very thin stalk on them so can break easily. Mine didn't break because I changed them straight away after realizing the sound quality wasn't very good and the headphones were too big and wouldn't stay in my ears, they kept falling...

...I was really impressed by the styling of the product, in a sense it looks very trendy and fashionable. The performance on the whole is just that of a basic mp3 player with the capability of playing back certain copyrighted formats. The three available color options are no doubt very attractive. It really cannot justify the price with its quality. I don?t know why but this the trend with most of Creative audio product. ...I bought this mp3 player as I was tired of always changing round the songs on my ancient 128mb player. I knew from friends that Creative were a decent brand so I had a look on the internet to see what sort of prices we were talking, and I was pleasantly surprised. I found this 2GB version of the Zen Stone for £25 over a year ago and in my opinion that is great value for money. The battery life is very good and the fact that it recharges via USB is very useful. To transfer songs all you need to do is connect the player to your computer and drag songs into the player's folder.. its as easy as that! The controls are straight forward, nothing fancy but from my point of view, this is all that's needed. The fact that there is no screen may put some people off but this was not the case with me as you can set in to random and hope...

...i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal...

...I had been looking for a long while for an mp3 player before I decided on this one after a lot of people had said very favourable things about Creatives products. Size: When I got the Zen V plus It was smaller than I had imagined it to be, It's palm sized but for me that was an advantage. it is also very light so very easy to use on the go. Ease of use The software that came with it was very easy to load and use on my computer and it came with what I felt a basic instruction manual. Very easy to use and easy to manage the files on the mp3 player. The mp3 player itself has a very easy to use menu and you can find the song you want fairly easy as you can choose either by all music, artist, song title or type of genre. The way that the songs are stored in the genres section is a bit confusing as some just are not in the right...

Zen V Plus 2GB

Advantages: Stylish, excellent sound quality, easy to use
Disadvantages: Can only be charged via PC

...Excellent MP3 Player. Versatile, stylish, easy to use. Bought mine for £63 from Amazon (delivered 48hrs later). Very easy to sync with PC, several software options for managing music, pictures, video and data files. Have mainly used mine for music as with only 2GB memory there is not room for many pictures and videos and the screen is a little small to do them justice anyway. The sound quality is excellent, although I invested in a pair of Phillips headphones which are superior to the ones included with the Zen. The only mild disappointment is that the player can only be charged through the USB PC connection, which takes a little while to charge it fully and needs to be done fairly often if you use the player quite a bit. But all in all I would certainly recommend the Zen V Plus as an excellent MP3 player....
