...I have had the Microphoto now for 6 weeks and having tried out all the functions and getting the grips with it I feel in a position to give a realistic and honest view on the Creative Zen Microphoto. I purchased the Creative Zen Microphoto to replace my Creative 20GB Touch which I accidentally broke. I shopped around for a mp3 player and settled on the Creative Zen Microphoto mainly because of the Creative software which is easy to use. Also the ability to use it as an external hard drive helps me keep everything in one place neat and organised. The pros are the great sound quality, the bright colourful display, the mp3 player's software system which is very intuitive and the value for money of the Zen when compared to an Ipod. ...I have owned 4 MP3 Players and the Creative Zen Touch is simply the best of all of them. It is easy to use, although very flexible for more advanced users. It looks good, its feels good. The software provided is Excellent, In the package with the Zen you recieve The Creative Mediasource software suite, which comprises of an Audio converter, which can convert between MP3 WMA and WAV files. There is a media player/organizer which i believe sufficient to replace WinAMP with. Also provided is Nomad Explorer, a more simple program for transfering music and data to and from the MP3 Player. The Player itself is very reliable. And the battery life comes close to 24 hourse when fully charged. I have found this to be adaquete in most situations. Advantages: Sleek and stylish design, adiquate storage capability, wide variety of colours to choose from, small yet durable design.
Disadvantages: Vertical touch pad can sometimes be a little fiddly, if the batteries are left in when the product is off, the battery is still used up.

...I have owned a creative Zen micro for about 1 year now. Throughout it's usage, it has held up and maintained it's crisp audio clarity, stylish appearance and practicality. Looks: The Creative Zen micro is a very elegant and stylized product. It delivers intuitive design which is. at times mesmerizing. The subtle glow of the electric blue back light and screen give this product a aura of style. The light up, touch sensitive buttons are simple and their functions are pretty self explanatory. I bought this product in black, but it is available in a range of 9 other colors most of which are bold and vibrant. But, in my opinion, due to the nature of the blue back light, some colors tend not to look as good as others. I recommend the silver, black and white versions of this product for this very reason. ...(*'s Out of 5) I received the Creative Zen Touch for my birthday in October (at a guess I'd say it cost around £170) and I have been extremely pleased with it since- I haven't even filled half of its large 20GB capacity. What's in the box: Creative Zen Touch MP3 Player, USB 1.1/2.0 cable, Quick Start Manual, Creative Zen Touch case, Creative earphones and charger. Looks: ****and a half- I think this Creative Zen Touch looks very nice, the buttons have been neatly placed, the blue backlit screen gives it a very nice edge and everything just seems to fit in, it's slightly larger and heavier than the iPod, but that's just a minor con because it feels sturdy and of high quality. ...I recieved my creative zen micro photo as a replacement for my late Ipod mini (4gb), I was shocked when I initially tore open the packaging with an unnatural force, inside I found: *My creative zen microphoto (in black) *Creative earphones (Quality wasn't great, obviously a knock-off of the *Ipod headphones) *Leather pouch *battery *CD with software *cable Lets start with the Zen, ok, it has no buttons and some users will find the toch-interface quite annoying (as my freind put is a f***ing waste of time) the screen quality could be better and the photo-display mode seems to be a bit of a gimmick, (the photos are blurry). I only really needed the Zen for music and, after uploading the songs onto it (this can be done with media player or the bundled software which is complicated and harder to use than the traditional itunes... ...The zen nano plus mp3 player ticked all the boxes I needed and more. I wanted lightweight, compact and funky (I bought the purple version) for using at the gym. The 1GB size means that I can have a variety of music for all my different sessions throughout my gym routine, form warming up, to aerobic, to cardio through weights and to cooling down, without having to listen to the same track over and over - the only repetitions I want are with my abs! I do find that the buttons can be a little fiddly to use, but other than that this is the perfect mp3 player for me. Its small enough that it can easily be held in a creative armband and not get in the way at the gym, and the headphones are really comfy. About a month after I bought my player, the battery cover clip did break, but I got straight on to Creative and they sent me out... Read review

...THE GOOD- Good price for first time byers , good choice of colours(6) good sound quality , easy to use has a mini usb port for syncing and charging. It supports Audible files and has a Skip Folder function that makes it easy to skip through groups of tracks. The bad: The Creative Zen Stone has no screen, no extra features, and no built-in clip like that of the iPod Shuffle. The rated battery life is unimpressive 10 hours although that is still a fair amount of listning time but compeard to others in its range e.g sony mp3 for £35 has a battery life of over 24hours. The bottom line: The Creative Zen Stone is a fantastic choice as a secondary MP3 player or for first timers on a budget who want a simple, great-sounding device with limited features and a bargain basement price tag. ...I have had my Zen Vision for 6 months now & it has been a joy to use. The screen is large, clear & bright & the large storage capacity means I always have something to watch or listen to. Setting it up was simple with the software supplied by Creative & withing minutes you will be transferring files from your hard drive and synching it with Windows Media Player. The only downside I have found is that the screen does tend to pick up surface scratches very easily, so I would recommend some kind of protective covering, but its a minor issue and does not overlly take away from my enjoyment of the product. Creative surpass Ipod in terms of user friendliness in my experience & I wholeheartedly recommend its purchase. Finally it has a nice Wow factor with people unfamiliar with mp3 players, as even the demonstration video impresses people... Read review

...if your after a cheap and efficient mp3 player simply just to listen to your favorite tunes then this is the one for you. easy to use with great value for money. the sound quality produced by this little piece of equipment is top notch. creative zen have always produced reliable and good quality mp3's and this is no failure to say the least. the blue display screen and slick black body provides a very appealing and attractive finish. the one great feature about this is the ease to put songs onto it. it uses a simple drag and drop, as opposed to the installment of itunes from apple and etc. the built in mic is also real cool little feature you can record tracks using this tool. you cant go far wrong with an 18 hour battery life span either.... ...I received this product as an eighteenth birthday present and was delighted to have my own high memory mp3 player that I would not have been able to buy normally. This product was very easy to use and has very detailed yet simple instructions so I couldn't go wrong, I was able to install my own songs use straight away with no trouble. The 5GB memory also means that you can basically have all your favourite songs installed and then some, you can also create your own play lists and shuffle and repeat songs using the side menu. The creative Zen has a very good interface and having seen friends ipods I believe that creative are the leaders in that area and I found the interface perfect to use and customise the Zen to my particular needs.
