Disadvantages: Customer service is extremely poor. Their web order workflow doesnt work properly.

.... THe whole experience has been very frustrating, and frankly I would fear dealing with Chain Reaction Cycles again. I do not wish to spend my money with a company who treat their customers so poorly. Waste of time and money. I hate to write bad reviews, but then again, I hate to be taken for a ride by a company either....

...We?re a big fan of gadgets and novelty items in our house and it?s not gone unnoticed by all of our family and friends, who delight in presenting us with new things to try out on a regular basis. When my sister in law popped over a few weeks back with a big smirk on her face and a carrier bag from The Gadget Shop, I knew there was going to be something amusing inside. The box did not disappoint but I was intrigued as to what a Lightning Reaction actually did when I unwrapped the present. My sister in law said the assistant in the shop recommended the Lightning Reaction as it was one of their biggest sellers. After playing with it for the last few weeks I think she?s lying and she just likes to inflict pain. Great Idea, Mediocre Movie...

Advantages: It tries really hard to be a tense techno-thriller...

In The initial idea, of a new power-source being developed from water (we're not talking traditional hydro-power here though) - which supposedly has the capacity to use the hydrogen in small glass of water to power the whole city of Chicago for weeks -is brilliant. The idea of the rich and powerful oil companies being desperate to stop this is entirely credible. The idea of an eccentric scientist wanting to actually give away this technology is less believable but forgivable. The idea of a secret government agency getting involved is plausible. Sabotage of the research plant...

...I tried using aston and parsons powders for my teething son as i thought the powder would adhere to the gums better than the gels, i was right they did. The powders are quite easy to apply using a finger or a dummy and you can use exactly as much or as little as you care to use. The powders claim to calm a fretful child, but they seemingly did nothing at the time of application, even after repeat dosing there seemed to be no reaction. The following day, my son was as laid back as they come, he appeared happy and relaxed and was quite happy to doze for some time. Concerened i took him to the doctors who found nothing wrong with him, although he did suggest it could be the powders that had a delayed reaction on him. We did find this to be the case, as the following say he was his old self again, when trying the powders again...

Have a shocking time!

...I first got this item for my birthday as a present, and at first I did not know what it was - my friend who gave me the present offered to show me as a demonstration - and he said to take one of these handles and press my finger on the button, and when the light goes green, to take it off - to my shock (pun intended) as soon as the light went red I got an electric shock - he tricked me.... he said "Oops, did I mention you are not meant to press that button until the light goes green?" And cheekily turns the power level back onto low. Friends eh.................. WHAT IS LIGHTNING REACTION? This, to what could only be described as a fun gadget, is an electronic game where the aim is to hit a the button which is on your allocated handle as soon as a big red light in the middle of the platform turns green. Allergic Reaction

Disadvantages: Didn't work for me (or rather, my dog!)

...My elderly (but mental age of an embryo) Jack Russell had been enjoying Pascoes for many (dog-) years, with a little Chum mixed in to sate her desire to eat dead animal. However, there came a time when she started to itch, and developed a nasty rash on her legs and stomach. It was driving her frantic, and the vet confirmed what I had worked out for myself - she was allergic to something. The vet didn't know what, but because she's an out door type, suggested she was picking something up in the fields around us. I wasn't convinced. After a few other unsuccessful experiments, I stopped giving her her beloved Pascoes, and tried a variety of other brands. Within a week, the rash had gone, and has never returned. I'm not knocking Pascoes, but in this particular case it was the cause of a reaction I wouldn't want to see repeated. It is...

...Being limited to the basic 5 channels when my sky system packed up, i was pleased to find that the BBC still show the odd film worth watching. Actually i surprised myself, as i had forgotten just how good this particular film was. Like the title suggests "Chain Reaction", the whole film really is. It starts off with a celebration when Eddie (Keanu Reeves), figures out the missing link that enables a new form of hydrogen power to become a reality. Obviously a clean and virtually free power source is something everyone wants, and so set's the stage for the plot and total storyline.
