Not too simple

Sound, controls, weapons, radar......

...Far Cry Vengeance is a shooting game for the Nintendo Wii console. I had played other Far Cry games previously and found them to be fairly good so was looking forward to trying out this console version and I was really disappointed. Fortunately I only paid under a fiver for a used copy as I certainly wouldn't recommend paying any more for it. There are many things that make this game annoying...

A good story, compelling

Not as descriptive as it should have been

...I downloaded the Kindle version of Hue & Cry by Shirley McKay for the simple reason that it was only 49p, the fact that it was historical fiction also drew me in as I'm getting bored of my modern crime thrillers at the moment so had subconsciously been looking for an 'in' into this (marginally) more gentle genre. Hue & Cry is set in the 16th century, in Scotlands blossoming university city...

Excellent price, highly addictive, beautiful graphics and amazing multiplayer online

Can get frustratingly hard, storyline abit much, need a good PC

...Upon reading a review of FarCry in my monthly computer magazine, and looking at the screenshots shown and the high gold award given to it, I decided it might not be a bad idea to buy this game as I hadn't played a decent first-person-shooter in a long time. I don't regret buying it one bit, although I did pay the full £25 price when it first came out, not realising it was going to be on sale...
