He shortened the name to Bic and the Bic cristal ball point pen is now a popular pen which lasts for ages. Would I recomend ? Yes well I am not sure which brand of ball point pen is the best but...

Advantages: A fragrence which although long lasting does not kill your sense of smell

Almodovarian madness

Advantages: Totally bonkers, but in a good way
Disadvantages: Not for those who like a film to make obvious sense

...very palpable. She is sick of her husband's short-sightedness, and is forced to get her kicks from drugs and occasional extra-marital sex. I really felt for her character as I was watching this - the tenseness in her is really draining and all to credible. I also liked Cristal, the prostitute, played by Veronica Forque, who bears a passing resemblance to Una Stubbs - rather ironic when you think how clean-cut Stubbs has always been. Forque plays the role with enough compassion that you don't find it in the least strange that Gloria and her family are always in and out of her house, and enough humour that had me in stitches at times. Another notable character is Gloria's mother-in-law, played by Chus Lampreave, who has apparently featured in a number of Almodovar's films.
