A 110g pot cost me £1.18 from a market leading supermarket, so gram for gram as sold this is more expensive than Pot Noodle. It is available in the dried foods aisle. Although the pack claims to make a 410g serving, it is glaringly obvious the additional 300g is going to be the water you add during preparation. Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

Rich and Tangy Brown Sauce

Advantages: It stands upside down
Disadvantages: A wee bit vinegary!!

...Being the bargain hunter that I am I found this Crosse and Blackwell Branston brown sauce on offer for 49p I'm not sure of the normal price but I thought I would give it a go, I'm the sort of person who has to have lots of condiments in the cupboard but I'm not so keen on brown sauce, we shall see what I make of this version. It comes in a 470g handy plastic bottle that stands on its lid upside down, handy because I find myself turning the other sauces upside down to get the last bits out of the bottle, tight I know but it works. The plastic is see through so you can see the sauce inside, the lid is a flip top lid with quite a large whole to get the sauce out but it will not escape until you give it a squeeze because it has one of them plastic things inside with a cross on it that doesn't let anything out until squeezed, I'm not sure...

...After spending an afternoon on price comparison sites, Blackwells seemed to have the best value, delivery time and most importantly the book I needed was in stock. The site itself is very easy to use and the transactions are dealt with very quickly. However I waited 3 weeks to receive the wrong book. I was very disappointed as I needed it for a 4week TEFL course which was starting the following week. I returned the book and sent an email explaining the situation and asked if they could they send me the correct book asap. I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks. After another 3 email were sent £2 suddenly appeared in my bank account as a refund for the £16.25 book I purchased. Do they even sell £2 books? ...A meal in a packet??? What a great idea!!!! I first tried a meal in a packet whilst I was at university and went through the ?I can?t be bothered to cook? stage of life. I first bought pasta and sauce in a packet because my mates recommended them and tried many different brands but I have to say that the Crosse & Blackwell range are probably one of my favourites. ...Having next to no money, until payday, I realised that my overspending is on food. At work, we have a subsidised canteen, and when I say subsidised, I mean heavily subsidised.
