Viva Crumpler!!

Advantages: Robust and resilient, looks good
Disadvantages: Not waterproof (not expected to be, but would have been nice!)

...I\'ve been using one of these for about 12 months now. Mines the cream/black/maroon version. As with all Crumpler bags, it's very sturdy and well made, and lots of practical features but be aware, this bag is most definitely NOT waterproof like most of their other bags, due to the neoprene panels (the main part of the bag is made from their water resistant ChickenTex fabric). Not a problem, just something to be aware of. Also, as with all Crumpler bags, it is very stylish and whilst it's maybe a bit more expensive than other brands, you DO seem to get what you pay for with their products. This little bag has had some serious abuse and apart from being a bit mucky (it's cream in colour - what do you expect), it's in great condition. Indestructible laptop bags!

...I first came across Crumpler when I picked up my Sony Vaio notebook and it came with a mini Crumpler notebook bag. I was really impressed and had a look at the Crumpler website and liked what I saw, they really push the brand on the website and have created a website to show it. And then comes the price list to go along with the brand, bags go between £50 and up to over £100. A quick search round the internet, found most websites that sell them, sell them at or near they?re RRP. But looking on eBay you can get them for between £30 and £50, mostly second hand but as Crumplers are almost indestructible they?re almost all as new. ...I ordered the Crumpler camera case, paying the additional fee for next day delivery as I was going away and needed it quite urgently. Over two weeks on and back from my holiday I am still waiting for my order to arrive or for any form of response at all. I sent query emails, which bounce back saying the domain name does not exist and when I call the 'hotline' number I get through to an automated answering sysyem which simply re-directed me to the website. The full amount for the order went off my account within 2 days and I recieved an email saying the order had been completed which it clearly hasn't! I am however unable to get in contact with anyone to find out what the problem is. I will certainly never use Photosense again and I would advise anyone else who may be considering it to steer clear!...

A good budget laptop

Battery The laptop is available with either a 6-Cell, or 9-Cell battery. With the 6-Cell you can typically expect between 2-4hours usage a charge depending on how processor heavy your usage is. Any Catches? -The lack of a travelock -Screen Wobble -Touchpad freezes occasionally -Keyboard paint Overall Id recommend this laptop to anyone seeking a basic starter laptop, student laptop etc. But also have a look at the Acer Aspire and Toshiba Satellite ranges before making your decision. Review of Dell Inspiron 1525

iPhone 3G. After long waiting now it's mine to enjoy!

Advantages: cellphone with ipod, camera and internet all in one and in your pocket, loads of apps to download
Disadvantages: battery life, syncing with iTunes, rubbish default earphones

...'t mind the size, it fits well into my hand and doesn't feel bulky in a back pocket. It's also well-assembled, no squeaking, the front and back hold together like a rock. Its surface and screen are lovely shiny, which means fingerprints, grease and all kinds of mess do show instantly and you need to clean it all the time. Not that I mind. I like clean things. Screen is protected with glass, so it's neither very vulnerable nor likely to scratch, but you should consider a protective case (I'm very happy with Crumpler's Le Royale for iPhone leather case - a review about that one next time) or at least not carry it in pocket/bag with keys and similar hard/sharp objects to ensure it won't get wounded.
