For the uninitiated, there is an introduction to crystals; what they are, types of crystals, how to chose them, caring for and cleansing them. Then, listed is an A - Z of various crystals. Each crystal has a page to itself with a full colour photograh. You are taught how to recognise them, their healing properties, which chakra (s) they represent and some general information on each crystal in question. For a small volume the paper is very glossy and the photography excuisite. The cover (hardback) has a lovely photograph making the book appear sumptuous and appealing, and 24 types of crystal are described in the above manner which is more than adequate for those... Advantages: A handy and interesting book for Crystal lovers.

I became interested in Crystals through my practice of Yoga and interest in energy charkas of the body. ...massage, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Ayurveda, Books, Music, Newsletter, and a link to a forum on Yahoo which offers advice and help on various therapies. I visited each of the pages in turn and found that they all had the same basic layout, which was quite helpful in navigating around the site. I was particularly interested in Aromatherapy, so I spent most of my time on this page. Here there is also a link to another page which advises on which oil(s) to use for various listed conditions. I found this very interesting and helpful. The book shop and the music shop both link through to Amazon with a very professional presentation of books or music in the selected genre. I thought this was a very good idea for the site, and very informative. The forum link appears to be quite new as there are not many entries there but the idea is a good one... Read review

...I always like to try alternative therapy but I was always sceptical about crystal therapy until I read an article in the Express. You see my mother is 66 years old. (Yes she allowed me to tell you all!). She has been smoking since she was 17 years old. Last October she finally decided to give up smoking. She had tried before using gum, patches and willpower, but without success. This time unbeknown to her she had help from her late husband, my father. In the summer 2001 mum had my fathers Black Onyx and gold ring made to fit her finger. From then on her desire to smoke was reduced. As a result in the October she decided to stop smoking again.
