Since using this product for over 2 years my skills have increasingly developed through my knowledge on how to use the software and using other or famous artists as inspiration. Do not worry though, you may find the product hard to use at first but I assure you the 'Adobe help' function provides more help you need. Technically you can't get lost as it provides help with pretty much everything you need to know!...

...I've had my CS2 for 12months now and have not had a problem with it!! The connections on the back are easily accessible, and like most of them well labeled.
The USB socket also doubles up as allowing the nipple like mouse on the remote control be a mouse on your PC!
All in all, very good. Haven't had any problems, other than the fans being a bit noisy but the you get used to it over time anyway!!
I would happily recommend it to anyone, and would buy another one if Sony still made them!!
Sony really know how to do things properly and its always worthwhile spending that bit extra on a branded piece of equipment as it pays in the long run!!...

...I remember first time I started to learn Adobe Photoshop, years ago. I started with Photoshop 5.5; Those days, we had to go through a lot of steps to do effects we can do now with fewer steps and less time. Adobe Photoshop goes through a lot of enhancements and improvements since then.
Through the years, I've upgraded Photoshop, starting with version 5.5, followed by 7, and now CS2. Generally, I skip every other version as a rule of thumb.
This new version is more users friendly, saves much time and gives you the ability to create professional outputs in fewer steps with its new features.
And speaking of organizing, the new version offers a much better way for users to tuck away palettes in such a way that they are still accessible, saving screen real estate in the process. It's also much easier to set document presets from within...

...Alias Studiotools (a 3D design program), and then transfer the completed images to Adobe Photoshop CS2. On here there are a whole host of additional effects and additions I can apply to make the image look professionally complete.
1) There is a very large colour/shader and pattern pallet, useful for applying backgrounds and shaders to complete an image or fill in any blank spaces. There are also various methods of applying a fill, including a good range of different gradients (oval, circular, linear, square, etc), such as colour orientation and pattern.
2) Almost everything in the program is customisable, from the pattern effects and gradients to the colours within the set effects.
3) There is a huge number of filters that can be applied to an image to change the look of media, effects, photographic enhancement, blur, sharpness, etc...

...As a graphic designer, I use this package every single day to create artwork and designs for clients. To me, Adobe Creative Suite 3 is like a hammer for a carpenter - it's a must have tool.
Adobe seem to upgrade their main packages almost religiously every year - 18 months, so it seems little point forking out the best part of £500+ to simply add a couple of extra brushes or tools for each package. I believe they are already working on their fourth incarnation as we speak.
However, CS3 adds more than just a couple of new elements. Adobe has taken the opportunity this time around to offer the user a brand new interface with more customizable options which may or may not suit all. I however think it's one of the best updates they have released since they introduced Layers in Photoshop way back in an earlier version.
