Sun, Sea and CSI Miami

Advantages: Its CSI,
Disadvantages: season 1 okay season 2 much better

...Ok if you havent caught one of the best TV shows to come out of america in recent years heres your chance. CSI Miami is the spin off from the original CSI which the characters were introduced in an episode called cross jurisdictions (season 2 episode 22). Usually spin offs can either be really good or really suck, luckily CSI MIami falls into the former catergory. This is mainly down to the strong cast and good writers that the show has. So who are CSI Miami characters, well there is 5 main people who work for CSI Miami and a few regulars that work for Miami PD. Horatio Caine played by David Caruso is the lead CSI over at Miami Dade. Advantages: you can be one of americas finest and enjoy with out even leaving your chair
Disadvantages: some times you have to re start the game as you miss some thing

Hours of Entertainment for any CSI Fan.

Advantages: Great fun, easy to learn, must for all CSI addicts
Disadvantages: Unable to switch tutorial off

...Any self respecting CSI fan will know that CSI Miami is run by Lt Horacio Caine. And though his on screen whistfull shots of him putting his sunglasses on and taking the glory, yet again, can be annoying, we love him all the same. The popular TV series (in its 3 incarnations) has been well transferred to a PC game - will all your favorite characters well represented and accessible. Technically, the graphics are well done, the CSI characters are realistic and have their actual voices. If you have a good processor the game takes little time to load, and automaticaly saves your place as you go along (very good feature since sometimes everthing you collect can get a little confusing). This game takes you through 5 cases with the help of a different CSI everytime, there is help available from your partner when you need it, but...

No ugly cops in Miami

The first is that if you are the least bit squeamish then this is not the show for you as there is a high gore level in each show. I'd like to getaway to Miami-but not get murdered

Advantages: great if you like csi or cant get enough of it
Disadvantages: if you dont like crime / murder novels

...At last, Ciao has added this, I've been waiting to write a review for a few weeks now! You don't know (yet) but I am a huge, huge fan of the TV series on Five of CSI (Crime scene investigation), CSI:Miami and CSI:New York. I've got them all on DVD (which are out yet, blimey it's annoying we're so far being the states!), the Miami Board Game and the CSI pc game so it was only a matter of time before I ended up with the books! I knew I'd pretty much like this book as I like the series and it makes a welcome change to read something other than 'chick lit' which is what I always read any other time. Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at
Disadvantages: Often I find myself wanting a tattoo done by Chris Garver but unfortunately I don't live in Americ

...Miami Ink, if you haven't heard about it already, is a TV show about a tattoo parlour in Miami (if you hadn't already guessed!). The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. Each show lasts about an hour long, and during that time we see a variety of clients enter the studio to get their tattoos. The guys who run/work in the studio are all fairly young, heavily tattooed and have been through different walks of life. Most of them have spent their lives tattooing, so working in the shop you can tell means a lot to them. Each artist has a different personality...

The Trotters do Miami

Advantages: More brillaint humour and a great story
Disadvantages: dodgy canned laughter in latter part of episode
