Advantages: Superb graphics, cast, characters and plots

Sun, Sea and CSI Miami

Advantages: Its CSI,
Disadvantages: season 1 okay season 2 much better

...Megan Donner, played the boss of CSI Miami (which caused tensions with Horatio) but for some reason this character was ditched after 10 episodes of the first series. A new regular addition to the cast from series 2 is Sofia Milos. Sofia plays Yelina Salas (though i think that should be Caine) who is the main police detective that helps CSI. She was married to Horatio's brother Raymond who was killed a few years previous in a drug deal gone wrong. This character (and Actress) and the underlying storyline between Yelina and Horatio is one of the reasons where season 2 is better than season one. The storylines are nice and consistant with a few twists and turns that made the original CSI great. Most of the producers are the same on both shows which helps add some consistancy to it. Final Part of an Epic First Series

Advantages: Superb characters
Disadvantages: Possibly too dark and too gruesome for some viewers

...I have liked CSI for quite a long time but never actually religiously watched it week after week. In fact to be perfectly honest despite really enjoying the programme I have only ever really watched the odd episode here and there. After getting Sky a few months back however I have been recording the re-run episodes of CSI and this is what eventually prompted me to purchase the first series. Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at
Disadvantages: Often I find myself wanting a tattoo done by Chris Garver but unfortunately I don't live in Americ

...Miami Ink, if you haven't heard about it already, is a TV show about a tattoo parlour in Miami (if you hadn't already guessed!). The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. Each show lasts about an hour long, and during that time we see a variety of clients enter the studio to get their tattoos. The guys who run/work in the studio are all fairly young, heavily tattooed and have been through different walks of life. Most of them have spent their lives tattooing, so working in the shop you can tell means a lot to them. Each artist has a different personality...

Hours of Entertainment for any CSI Fan.

Advantages: Great fun, easy to learn, must for all CSI addicts
Disadvantages: Unable to switch tutorial off

...Any self respecting CSI fan will know that CSI Miami is run by Lt Horacio Caine. And though his on screen whistfull shots of him putting his sunglasses on and taking the glory, yet again, can be annoying, we love him all the same. The popular TV series (in its 3 incarnations) has been well transferred to a PC game - will all your favorite characters well represented and accessible. Technically, the graphics are well done, the CSI characters are realistic and have their actual voices. If you have a good processor the game takes little time to load, and automaticaly saves your place as you go along (very good feature since sometimes everthing you collect can get a little confusing). This game takes you through 5 cases with the help of a different CSI everytime, there is help available from your partner when you need it, but...

CSI: New York - Sereis 1, Vol 2, Unmissable

Advantages: Rivetting, dark Drama
Disadvantages: None for me as a CSI fan.

The main difference with this compared to the other 2 programs is that it is undeniably darker in tone, grittier and gloomy. You soon find out that the lead CSI is a no-nonsense First Grade Detective Mac Taylor played by Gary Sinise. Mac is a former Marine from Chicago, and he is a someone who works to the rules, but has little time for bureaucracy, which can cause him problems with his superiors. But his ability in the field and leadership quality is such that he is tolerated. His attention to detail is second to none and it pays off a number of times. Advantages: VERY FUNNY
