...Having heard that two obese teenagers were suing McDonald?s for making them fat, film-maker Morgan Spurlock decided to see what would happen if he ate nothing but McDonald?s food and drink, three meals a day for thirty days. ?Super Size Me? is the result. The idea for ?Super Size Me? came to director Spurlock after an enormous Thanksgiving meal at his mother?s house. Does size matter?

Advantages: great graphics and gameplay
Disadvantages: poor sound

...Back in 2002, a game was created that has never really been seen before. The game combined the longevity and puzzle elements of a platformer, with the firepower of a shooter. Ratchet and clank was born, and the series of games since have never really deviated from the original blueprint. At the end of the day, if a thing isn't broke, then why fix it? So, our favourite (and only.) lombax, and robot duo are back, for one more outing. What exactly a lombax is, I dont know but the closest thing I could compare him to is a fox. ...- The Book - This is a non-fiction book and as the name suggests it's focus is on size and the associated vocabulary: * big and small - This double page shows 2 ?big? things, an elephant and a skyscraper, adjacent to which are many photos of small things such as paper clips, grapes, buttons, marbles etc. * big, bigger, biggest - Chilldren are invited to draw comparisons between three living things from a big toucan to the biggest out of the three, a hippo. * small, smaller, smallest - Again there are photos of animals and objects, varying in size from small to the smallest. * tall and short - The concept of tall and short is then introduced on a double page with a photo of a tall giraffe next to a short dog and a tall sunflower next to short daisies etc. It would have been even better if the author had extended this...

Latina Size into your favourite dress

Disadvantages: You need a good space to perform the routines properly

...Well at the start of the year I promised myself instead of talking about toning up I would actually this time do something about it....surprisingly I did and I feel great. One of the tools I used in my bid to shape up and get fit for Summer was the brilliant Latina Size dvd. As a fan of Strictly Come Dancing I thought this would be a fun way to shape up (and I liked the idea of learning some moves!). The dvd is broke down into 5 sections: Simply Salsa, Rumba Tone, Jump 'n' Jive, Cha Cha Burn and Sambasize. Each one targets a different part of your body so you can alternate depending on what you want to work out. I got into the routine of focusing on the Jump 'n' Jive sections at least twice a week to help tone the dreaded thighs! There is also a warm up and cool down section. The size is no longer so super

...I'd been curious about this film since I 1st heard about it when it entered cinema's. Initially it didn't interest me and I didn't want to go and see it. I was curious but I wasn't going to pay cinema prices to watch it. I had the same kind of feelings when it became available on DVD and video, but finally I got my chance to see it when it was shown on UK TV on channel 4. This film follows Morgan Spurlock (No, I don't know who he is either) and his special diet. His diet or plan to eat 3 meals a day at McDonalds for 30 days. He starts out by having medical exams, blood tests and so on to check his initial health, fitness and many other things. Morgan has made a promise, he will only ever super-size a meal if he is asked by a salesperson (something that happened 9 times in his 30 days. Shortly after eating his 1st super-size meal...

One Size Fits All

Advantages: No need to buy different sizes, economical, ecological, works well
Disadvantages: Takes a while to dry and can be bulky on a newborn

The particular nappies I will be reviewing will be the Motherease One Size nappies. ** The Nappies ** As the name suggests, the nappy is designed so that one size fits all, meaning it should last a baby from birth right through to potty training, eliminating the need to buy more as the baby grows. So, does it work like that? Well, from my personal experience, these nappies do their job well from birth, with minimal leakages. The only slight issue is that they are very bulky on small babies. I have to say I was warned about this when I bought them, so I was prepared, although I didn't see it as too much of a problem. After all what's a bit of extra padding? Well, now I know that because of that extra padding, it is difficult to get trousers the right length for the baby to fit...

Super Sized Success

Advantages: Insight into junk food diet, humorous adventure, interesting statistics and information
Disadvantages: Can become tedious

...as the worlds biggest Big Mac consumer who has eaten over 19,000 Big Macs in his life and a couple who have spent over $30,000 on McDonalds products from toys from the popular Happy Meals to plates, costumes and even paintings. With the DVD, you get many special features not seen in the cinema, most of which are the same as other DVDs. Along with Directors commentary and interviews with such prominent members of the fast food studies industry including author of Fast Food Nation Eric Schlosser and director Morgan Spurlock, you get deleted scenes including a mini experiemtn to show how long it takes for McDonalds food to break down in your stomach, which produces results which may make you regret that last Value Meal. Overall, Super Size Me is a phenomenal triumph which allows for a real insight into the dangers of junk food...

would you like to super size it? no thanks

Advantages: Interesting insight on fast food effects
Disadvantages: Watching him eat makes you hungry

...given from all 3 doctors state he is perfectly healthy which is essential to this task as there's no point having this experiment on a lacklustre piece of obesity. The need of 3 doctors is so he can have fair results at the end of the documentary. Along side the doctors he has the guidance of a fitness instructor who assesses his fitness and weight. He is incredibly fit and this will help gauge the effects of all this fast food on his body. His girlfriend who is a vegan chef is sceptical about the experiment but wouldn't most partners if their other half was about to embark on a mission of stupidity. The first few times he eats McDonalds he has a lighthearted approach to it laughing and joking but as he finally reaches the super size it is far from it. Some scenes in the documentary are filmed in either a mcdonalds or his car, this scene...

Advantages: Reasonable prices, good choice for all ages

The iPod Shuffle 1GB, perfectly sized.

Advantages: Perfect design and great to use
Disadvantages: Hmmm...it's very small. You might lose it.

...I was quite suprised at the sheer quality of this piece of equipment when I first tried it out in December 2008. For only £32 it seems to be pretty good at blasting your favourite tunes into your ears and you don't even have to keep changing it's batteries unlike other mp3 players. The way in which this iPod Shuffle is operated is great, very easy to use and possible to function with your eyes closed. The best MP3 since...ever. Depending on the size of the tracks synchronised to your iPod this one can hold roughly 240 tracks, but can vary. Nowadays, this iPod can come in four different colours; silver, blue, green and pink. All very eye catching. This shuffle is chargeable through USB on your PC, so if you don't have a computer then using this item would be pretty much impossible! One charge will typically last about 24 hours...
