THE GOLD CUL DE SAC I really feel that when you have reached Gold, there is little incentive to carry on with the community point side of things. I think that no ceiling should be put on community points, that there should always be another colour to aim at, rather than having Gold as the top benchmark and I would be tempted to close my account at Gold and start all over again, simply because I love the community side of Ciao and feel that at Gold I will have reached the pinacle as far as community points are concerned. The recognition that Wha?appen was a musical cul de sac was followed in April 1982 by Saxa?s retirement from live work for health reasons. It was a shame to see the anti climax of this album after the glorious run of hit singles and extremely exciting debut album, but the Beat were clearly now on the way down from the exciting standards that they had set themselves and were soon to split into several pieces. ...Neighbours is one of the longest running tv soap operas in Australia, orginially starting way back in 1985. Like most soaps, the show focuses on the lives of the people who live in a small area. In this case, it is Ramsy Street, a small cul-de-sac in Erinsborough. There have been many dramatic storylines in the show, including romances, births and deaths. There was one major storyline a couple of years ago which included a plane crash. In the UK, it was originally shown on bbc 1 in the early evening slot, however channel 5 bought the rights to the show, and therefore it is shown just before its sister show Home and Away on channel 5. The good thing about the timing of this show is that it doesnt clash with any of your other favourite soaps. In my opinion it is just a shame that the show isnt included in any of the annual award...

Suburban silence

Advantages: Easy to sleep
Disadvantages: I sit wondering why all is so quiet.

...I have recentky moved from a busy main road with local bars and live badns playing til Two on a Tuesday night (we could here every word clearly through the closed windows. We have moved to a quiet cul-de-sac and this eerie silence is taking a bit of getting used to. This poem was written a couple of weeks ago and I have become more accustomed to the silence since committing these words to paper and my next offering should be happier and more settled. ...are always helpful and friendly In terms of food the hotel has an a la carte restaurant with champagne bar which serves a changeable menu of seasonal produce cooked to perfection. Average A La Carte dinner prices are around £25. Table D'hote prices are about £20 The Hotel serves bar meals which are very similar in quality to the restaurant food, just cheaper. All homemade. The hotel also serves lunches, it does a really nice home made cottage pie. The Desserts are excellent all homemade and often innovative. The wine list is impressive.Breakfast is always fresh and from good quality local ingredients. Cooked to order it is always filling and delicious. The Hotel is located in a cul de sac in walking distance of the centre of Drurham. The real drawback is that the hotel is situated next to a bus garage and close to the railway line...

Devon-ately a good holiday park!

...park, you are greeted by two Devon flags at full-mast at the entrance gates. You pass a number of Chalets before reaching the main buildings, which include the reception, restaurant and pool. The other caravans and chalets are set in little cul-de-sacs, named Farm Way, Valley Way, River Way and Teign Way. Our Accommodation Our caravan, number 307, was situated in Teign Way, which was good because it is at the edge so you don't get the noise from the main buildings or from people coming back from the nightly entertainment. As a Shaldon super caravan, it had a living room/kitchen area, a bathroom, a double room and a twin room. It was very clean, well equipped and fairly spacious. It is now shown on channel 5 in England. The show revolves around Ramsay Street in the fictional Australia town of Erinsborough. Ramsay street is a cul-de-sac which enables the residents to pop into each other?s houses with relative ease and generally live up to their reputations as nosy neighbours.
