Removes the stains, allgedly

...I bought this mousse after having building work carried out in our home which left several stains on the carpets and I didn't want to spend a fortune hiring a professional carpet cleaner and instead would prefer to get on my hands and knees and do it myself. After several minutes staring at the few options for carpet cleaning in my local supermarket I chose this one as it sounded the most straight forward and was a whole pound (!) more expensive than the others so did my usual thing and thought that the most epxensive should surely by the most efficient! what is it? It is basically a carpet and upholstery cleaner which 'attacks wet spills and stains'. WITH ONE SCOOP THE STAIN REMAINS!!!

Advantages: The tub came in handy
Disadvantages: iT DIDN'T WORK

...I think that I and my family must have a problem! The dirt we generate must be SO much worse than anyone elses as all I can say about this product is - I found it a complete waste of money!! We've all seen the adverts - the boy has a greying school top with random stains on, one wash with Vanish Oxi Action Multi Fabric Stain Remover added to the machine and - like magic, the top is glowing white and stain free, just like new - I am convinced that that is because it is ruddy well new!!!!!! I too have a son, a typical 13 year old football, cricket and rugby playing boy, a boy who takes his kayak on the canal and climbs out onto the muddy banks, a boy who can't eat spag bol without dribbling it down his front - so I have plenty of practise on stain removal!! So I handed five of my hard earned pound coins to Mr Tesco...

No Stain, No Pain.

Advantages: Good for small stain removal.
Disadvantages: None.

...of products to offer, I have bought the mousse cleaner but I personally prefer the Troubleshooter, it seems to offer better value. As well as providing us with the carpet cleaners they have a laminate and wood cleaner and a shampoo that can be used in machines. There is a special Pet stain remover and a selection of carpet and upholstery fresheners too. I feel that this product is invaluable, it is useful, economical and it works well. 1001 products are available in most leading supermarkets and hardware stores....

Trust Pink! Forget Stains :)

Disadvantages: Takes a while if following instructions properly

A Quick Rub And Your Unmentionable Stains Vanish

Advantages: Gets rid of biological stains without treating the whole wash
Disadvantages: You have to treat stains individually

...I often have problems with stains on clothing and it isn?t because there are kids in the house. The culprit, I must confess, is me. I'm a messy ***** you see. It could be red wine down a white tee-shirt, chocolate from a sticky finger, or even ice-cream. Ribena dribbling is my favourite trick and I really don?t know how I miss my mouth. There are lots of in-wash stain removing products around but I do think they are very expensive to use. You have to treat the whole wash with these, or pour several capfuls onto a stain to make if work effectively. Then there are the pre soak and pre-wash ones, but to be honest I do object to wasting money by treating the whole wash. It is much cheaper to just treat the stain. Admittedly, if I had several children with all kinds of unmentionable things on their clothing, I?m sure I would find it...
