...Ahhh strange liqueurs, my speciality. My obsession with all things obscure began when I was 18 and working in my first pub. We sold cocktails and therefore had an extensive stock of wierd and wacky ingredients. Whenever we approached stocktake the manager would tell me what to drink on my nights off (I was a big drinker back then) and my taste for Blue Caracao, Creme de Banane, Midori and Creme de Cacao developed. This particular brand of Blue Caracao is made by the Bols company, who make a wide range of liqueuers and flavoured brandy's. The Bols Royal Distillery is one of the oldest of its kind, with Bols Blue Curacao being its market leader. Make this island your next holiday destination

...If there is one island to visit in the first quarter of the year, it is Curacao in the Carnival season. The festivities last for several weeks and bring the island to a standstill. The island bakes in the hot tropical sun so it is also ideal for sun loving tourists. And for scuba divers, it offers some breath taking coral reefs. The island has plenty small hidden beaches to discover as well. And spectucalar view from its mountain which is located in the island's Nature Resort. And then there many shop to visit in the centre of the town which still has many of the traditional colonialist buildings in it. Overall the island is tourist's best destination to book for 2001....

Cheap Southern Caribbean hotel

...Last year Aug06, we decided to go to the ABC Caribbean islands, 1st of all we went to A island (Aruba) then the second island is C island (Curacao, it?s Southern Caribbean island). And we were on a very tiny budget, so we had to look for a cheap hotel, so we've looking at expedia.co.uk. And we found this hotel which is very central. It?s about GBP36 per night per room because we had a special deal, we stayed there for 4 nights but the 4th night is free, but breakfast is not included. The 2 stars hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport (Hato Airport) and we hired a car from Avis it?s about GBP70 for 4 days and picked it up from the airport, which was very useful for the holiday (we can drive around to anywhere). The problem at the beginning is, that to start, you need a full bar with many different bottles. Because in the beginning we had nothing, we searched for a cocktail with a small number of different ingredents. Out of this misery we selected a cocktail, which also now, when we have a full bar, it is one of our best cocktail. Try it by your own. Here is the list: Green Parrot: 2 cl Blue Curacao 1 cl Tequilla Maracujajuice Blue Curacao in a Cocktailglas. Then add Tequilla and fill it up with the Maracujajuice. Quirl it a little and then fasten a lemonslice on the lip of the glass. Ready! The lemonclice is not only for decoration reason, also the smell of it give you some freshness.
