Stylish curls, minimum effort!

Advantages: Straightens and curls with minimum effort, long cord, auto shut-off

...After seeing myself in a friend's wedding photos and staring disbelievingly at my horrible hair, I decided it was finally time to give in and buy myself a straightener and a curling iron. A couple of hours later, I sat down with a cup of coffee and the good old Argos catalogue to try and find myself the best possible styling tools for the lowest possible cost. I tend to think that you get what you pay for, and so I was willing to spend a decent amount on a straightener - ditto a curling iron. However, when I found the BaByliss You Curl I thought I'd struck gold! It straightens and it curls, depending on how you use it. ...I know when I admit this your all going to think I am sad! But after watching Lauren Conrad on The Hills again I couldnt help but feel jealous! I wanted the tumbling beach curls she had. BaByliss You Curl- You're worth it!!!

Just a few seconds after unwrapping present I was plugging it and waiting for it to heat up. First thing that I noticed is that it takes really short to heat up and during using it's not getting any colder(so I didn't need to make any breaks when using it just to wait for it getting a bit warmer again). Angel Curls!

...I first bought these curling tongs about three years ago. I had been looking for some decent tongs for a while as I was fed up of using hair rollers. I was instantly attracted to the carmen girls tongs; probably due to the fact that they were very pink and girly! I had read about them before though and I knew that Carmen was a good make. They looked fairly easy to use and they were a good price too, I think they were around £15. The tongs came in a rectangular black box with a picture of a girl who has used the tongs; there are also some small diagrams which show you how to use them. Luckily inside the box there were some detailed instructions on how to use them. Babyliss You Curls - Best Curling Appliance so far

Advantages: Fast Heat up, step by step instructions, easy to use

...I bought the Babyliss You Curl as a friend recommended them.. I have medium length hair thats quite thick, i seperated all my hair and curled sections as instructed in the booklet that came with the tongs. You have to curl your hair in a certain way for it to work otherwise it just straightens but once you get used to it, it becomes a lot quicker and easier to do. I sprayed each section with hairspray before and after i used the tongs to help the curls stay in. However after an hour of curling my hair the first section underneath had dropped out maybe i needed more hairspray so i re did the sections underneath. They are good value for money as i paid £39 and they create modern curls. They are fairly easy to use with 3 different heat settings and an on and off button once you get the hang of it....

CURLS FIT FOR AN ANGEL.

Advantages: Brilliant curls for under £15.00.
Disadvantages: Take 10 minutes to heat up.

My hair is pretty long, about half way down my back so I need something quite substantial that will gather the length of my hair up, and Angel Curls does that impressively, and without any bother.
