...I'm extremely fed up with the service I have received at D&A on Union Street in Glasgow. I would recommend you never use Dolland & Aitchison as your opticians.
I had my first appointment with them a couple of years ago. Having no idea which opticians to use, I was informed by a few friends that D&A might be a bit more expensive but they would give me great service.
I went in and got my eyes tested and ordered a pair of glasses and some contact lenses. Everything was fine with my glasses but the contact lenses just didn't feel right - which I expected to happen as I had never used contact lenses before. After a few months I had an appointment to get my contacts checked and I told the optician that I was struggling with them. She decided to change the lenses to another brand to see if that would help. I received my next batch...
Advantages: funny without vulgarity, watchable for entire family incl adults, good underlying mesages, enaging storyline Disadvantages: preferably watched after 1959's original version of The Shaggy Dog

We have a D and A superstore in Canterbury. There are no signs for it, you never see any advertising for it so unless like us you stumble across it by accident then you won't find it.

As I said we stumbled across the store by accident whilst driving one day. Once you know where it is it is easy to find again so with more time we returned.
The layout to me is a bit confusing. Like most superstores it is divided into aisles with a central aisle, well at least half the shop is. The problem is the aisles aren't opposite each other. Which means you come to the end of one and you have a choice of two opposite. So you feel like you are constantly backwards...

10. "Ride Tonite"
On this one you get another big street-suited track where the group come together to do a track directed to those who are living similar lives to what they have (or at least did until they got a Def Jam deal). I didn't like it as much as others on the album, but its not bad.

11. "What It Is"
You get highly complex production when T.A. gets on the beats, and I think that this may be problematic for them, as they work best when the rhythm is simple, but they seem to work fairly well with it all. There isn't a clear thmee here, and it gives them lots of freedom, however they don't take advantage of this, and they do pretty much what you hear throughout the rest of the album.

...I reported yesterday on a curiously labelled beer (CH?TI Ambree) that had appeared at our local supermarket. Today I shall look at the other ale from the same stable which is also stocked by Safeways.
This is the second of a pair of reviews about these beers from Northern France.
CH?TI is just one of several brands produced by Brasserie Castelain and is available in five varieties. These are Blond (Yellow label), White (Blue label), Dark (Black label), Amber (Brown label) and Triple (Green label). Apart from the White which is a low alcohol wheat beer, these brews generally exhibit a higher than average ABV.

...So after having an eye test at D&A and being scared off by the prices, I booked myself into Optical Express which is where Andrew gets his contacts from. The price of the eyetest was half the price of D&A (£15) to start with and if you purchased glasses afterwards then it would automatically be free.
The eye test didn?t seem as hi-tech or extensive as D&A and nor did the equipment seem as up-to-date but the optician was friendly, made conversation and was just a genuinely nice guy and whats more important, the test results came back the same as they did at D&A; I need glasses and I have a stigmatism.
The staff here are absolutely amazing and I can?t praise them highly enough. They were not only friendly and personal but they also couldn?t do enough to please me. There were four ladies in the shop and they were all helping me choose...

Review of Optical Express
Advantages: Bizarre use of Scat, A.D.I.D.A.S and a few other great tracks Disadvantages: Most of the tracks are 'mood' songs
...Scat isn?t the way you expect a metal album to start, but that?s what Korn decided to do with Life Is Peachy and it sets the mood of the whole album. With the exception of Porno Creep the entire album is about noise. Shouting, screeching, growling ? you name it it?s on this album. At times it?s almost atonal and you really have to be in a certain mood to like this album. Having said that, there are a few tracks that I can always listen to. Good God, A.D.I.D.A.S, No Place to Hide, Wicked and Low Rider. But some tracks, especially K@#0%! You really REALLY have to be feeling angry to listen to. Life is Peachy is hard to get into and Korns worst album, get the others first....
