...I recently bought the quad set of the Binatone e920s and I'm so happy with my purchase. My old cordless phones needed throwing away as the caller display on the handsets no longer worked and they were very basic with no extra functions. I was seeking functionality over aesthetics. Although these aren't ugly phones they aren't as sleek looking as some of the other more expensive phones. The two most important functions I was looking for when buying replacement cordless phones was caller ID and an answer phone facility, both of which my Binatone e920s have. The answer phone can record for 10 minutes and is easy to set up on the base unit. YH-920 - mixed experiences

Advantages: Easy menu system, cheap price
Disadvantages: Odd track sorting, various technical faults experienced

...of minutes, I had worked out how to operate the YH-920 pretty much fully, so ten out of ten in the user-friendly stakes. The one time I had to refer to the instructions was to find out about actually putting music on my player via Napster - basically this entails transferring Mp3s across to Napster, and then from there to the YH-920. Rather long-winded and unnessecary in my view, though I am told there are other ways of transferring without Napster. Using Napster however, you can still use all your existing music files and won't have to buy them again through Napster. Quality/functionality: The YH-920 provies all the features you'd generally expect or want from this class of Mp3 player. ...Firstly, let me set the record straight. You do not need the bundled napster software in order to load songs onto this machine. Many reviews claim that you do. The manual pretty much claims that this is the only way, its not a manual really but an advert for napsters subscription service. I'd recommend that you do not install the napster application unless you plan on using napster to purchase and download music files. Yes, purchase, this is not the napster of old, now napster is one of the many online music catalogues. Even if you plan on buying music on the net, maybe napster isn't the best service. Shop around, do a little research. One application that I know will work with this mp3 player is Windows Media Player. You cannot drag and drop mp3s you will need to use WMP to copy the files for you. Now that i've told you it does...

Review of Samsung YH-920

My experience of the Nikon D90 as an amateur photographer.

Advantages: Excellent picture quality, lots of useful features, well designed controls, great kit lens
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other DSLRs, quite big and heavy, limited movie mode

... How I made my choice I recently bought the D90 to upgrade from my Olympus 560UZ bridge camera, so this is my first foray into DSLR photography. Most people starting in DSLR photography will opt for the cheaper D40, or the D60, D70 and D80. I am not particularly rich, and in the end chose the D90 because I didn't want to grow out of the smaller DSLR and have to buy a new body quickly. I have found that the prices of Nikon DSLRs haven't decreased significantly over the last 3 years, so I decided (maybe wrongly) that this option would save me money in the long run. I found that it is very important to go into a shop and hold the camera in your hands before making a choice. All the photography shop assistants said that the Canon series was just as good as the Nikons, but I discounted them because I didn't get on with the feel...

320d - Potentially expensive failure

Disadvantages: reliability - Expensive turbo failure, Rear Seat Space, Boot Space

...This is my first BMW, and I am sorry to say my last. The 320d has a reputation for turbo failure, which I believe applies only to pre July 2003 models. This failure can happen at any time regardless of service history and so cannot be predicted or circumvented and is a widely publicised failure amongst 320d owners on the internet!. The cost of repairing this vary between £2000 - £3000 and is not something which I would expect from a name like BMW. Other drawbacks include driver comfort, which is virtually non existant, after 15 mins in the drivers seat you rapidly experience another feature of the 320D - namely BMW "Numb Bum", which I must admit was not publicised in the brochure. The driving position is also somewhat strange. Both rear seat and boot space are limited and certainly not inline with the size of vehicle, and all BMW...

Samsung YH-920 (Napster) MP3 Player Review

...I think that the Samsung YH-920 is a great MP3 player and I would recommend it to all. It is quite lightweight (150g) and is a reasonable size which fits in my pocket (61.5 x 106.8 x 16.6mm) without being bulky. I love the way it has been styled with the grey/silver alluminium and plastic complimented with the electric blue backlight. The backlight is a must in dark places which enables you to see the screen and looks nice. This light does however take up power so it might be advisiable to turn it off when you don't need it. The time the light stays on can be altered. It is also easy to use as there are few buttons but still do all the jobs you want them to do.
