TalkTalk made a good Router choice!

Advantages: Fast, small, reliable, good WiFi connectability

...I got my first D-Link DSL-2680 when I joined TalkTalk last March and used it every day up until February this year when I ended my broadband with TalkTalk, and it worked fantastically without fault.Just today, I re-joined TalkTalk and am using another DSL-2680 they sent me for my new connection. Needless to say, this one is just as good as the last, as it is the same model.To install the router you simply have to run an installation disk on your computer and after 15 minutes it is installed. Then, you can start browsing and enjoy fast download speeds, reliable connectivity with both Ethernet connection and WiFi, and of course, it looks nice and isn't too big.At the back there is the ASDL port, two Ethernet ports, the AC adapter port, and a push button ON/OFF switch, which I'll never use as I keep it...

...I'm sure that anyone that has read any of my 'techno' reviews recently knows that I'm a little out of touch with technology! I suspect (and hope) that there are many others who are the same. Therefore I think it helps to read a review in that category written by someone who also struggles with this sort of thing, but does have a little experience of the product, because then, maybe the review will be a little bit more 'down to earth' and will give the reader a general insight - without all the usual 'technical jargon' which fly's over many peoples (especially mine) heads. ...Back in March 2007, I bought my first laptop. This brought the number of computers in our house up to a grand total of three (my own desktop, my daughter's and the new laptop). It struck me that perhaps it was time to get networked. A hard wired network was out of the question, as I didn't want to start drilling holes and running cables everywhere, so a wireless solution seemed to be the way to go. I did a little research, as I'm not too au fait with this side of computing (though I have assisted in installing one before). Eventually in Pissy Werld (sorry, PC World), I found this package from D-Link. It consisted of the wirless router itself and a seperate antennae (destined for my daughter's bedroom PC). Also in the box were installation CDs for each of the two bits of hardware, a power supply and an additional ethernet cable.. So...
