Advantages: Nimble, peaky 2 stroke engine, lightweight fun for teens and adult alike
Disadvantages: Running costs, possibiltiy of 'dumping it', winter!
...will know, i had new chains and sprockets every 2500miles, new tyres and gallons of excellent 2 stroke oil, (Silkolene Race 2T @ £9.84/litre) but it was great fun and i never regretted it at all.
I had so many pleasant rides just pottering about and occasionally nailing it.
I never found the need to get my bike derestricted as i had so much fun with it as it was, such great handling courtesy of a lightweight dual beam aluminium frame and a generous wheelbase, with Dunlop D208's on there you were filled full of confidence (The bike comes as standard with D207's).
The brakes never faded on me once, although maybe the only disappointment i had was the little 14 litre tank which did a slightly more than average job, it was the only let down on the bike that i could think of, i recommend all new riders to have a go on at least one and see...
