Dell Latitude D830
Advantages: Security, Speed, Easy to travel with.
Disadvantages: Once some settings are change theres no going back.
...I own this Dell Latitude D830 it is a very fast, very reliable piece of equipment. It has dual core so its pretty good for gaming also with a very good video card. I wouldn't recommend it for the highest newest games but its very good to get you playing some of the recent games. It runs all sorts of O.S. so thats a plus. Compatible with most software. It can hold up to 4 gigs of ram. Easy lite weight, goof for the average business man and or student. The look is sorta unique in its own way. Also mines has the finger print scanner, good for protection password and easy access to password protected items. Comes with some good dell utilities too. Such as blue tooth, secure storage, embassy security, and also my favorite a TRACKER. So if it is ever lost or stolen you can call tell and they can track it down. So all in all its a very good...

A masterpiece of phone design
Advantages: Stylish, thin and a phone! What more can you ask for?
Disadvantages: Keypad can be irritating and battery life is short.
...When Samsung introduced the new "Ultra Edition" phones I just had to get one. Rather than advertising the phones individually, they decided to promote them as a series, containing 3 phone types, the X820, D830 clamshell and the D900 slide phone. I previously owned a Samsung E720 on an Orange monthly contract and was very pleased with the functionality and ease of use, so decided to go for another Samsung as an upgrade. Luckily for me this was excellent timing, as the new Ultra Editions were launched, quickly capturing my eye. This phone does everything as it should, whilst being ultra thin, boasting a 2 mega-pixel camera and 80MB standard memory as well as a micro SD card slot.
The D830 dimensions, 103x54x9.9mm, are similar to the Motorola RAZR, only thinner. Sitting comfortably in your hand and weighing in at a measly 92grams, it...

My personal experience
Advantages: Slick, easy to carry around, stylish
Disadvantages: touchscreen style keypad may be hard to press for some, no camera light
...The D830 is a very good camera phone to take around, especially when you are going for events where you do not want to be seen carrying bulky items in your bag or pocket.
I was contemplating getting either the D900 or D830 but finally settled on the D830 as in my opinion, sliding phones tend to have more disadvantages such as accidentally calling someone while the phone is in your pocket. Caused by the phone sliding open and triggering the button.
But the D830 is a clamshelled phone and would not have such an effect. Easy to slip into any pockets, including girls... Also, the inbuilt functions are pretty cool. The picture quality for the camera is pretty good in 2MP for those considering that as part of a criteria. Touch screen styled keypad which really makes others envy. At least my friend who had the D900 said 'wow! your phone...

Hot on the heels of Hotpoint
Advantages: Super easy to use and very efficient
Disadvantages: A little wider than my old model
...I am sure that i speak for many users on this site when i say that a dishwasher is an essential kitchen appliance. I quite simply cannot live without mine.
It was actually a couple of days prior to christmas that my Trusted hotpoint machine finally gave up the ghost, and obviously this left me in limbo with regards to the christmas dishes, so at 8 in the evening i found myself flying down the motorway to Makro, desperate for any dishwasher regardless of price. I was astounded at the selection on offer, but the D830 stuck out because of it's easy to use interface and low price, so with the help of a shelf stacker we loaded one onto my trolley and off i went merrily. I got it home and plumbed in within an hour, and my 11 it had cleaned it's way through my entire backlog - Most impressive considering the inlaws had been around for lunch...

Better than the D900 and cheaper!
Advantages: Very thin, stylish durable
Disadvantages: Camera, supplied heaphones
...was good as an MP3 player with the 1GB memory and decent headphones. Most of this phone if made out of metal except buttons and what not, gives it a very sturdy good quality feel and it looks very cool. In my opinion this is better than the D900 slider which is a lot more expensive for some reason the only thing better on it is the 3.0 mega-pixel camera, but it's all made from plastic and feels pretty cheap. A lot of people seem to complain about the keypad on this phone as it's all flat and you don't really get any feedback from the keys, it took me a little bit to get used to it (half an hour) but once you are, you can text a lot quicker on it than other phones. Comes with a couple of fairly good games as standard some bunny puzzle game and a 2d spaceship one, havn't tried getting any others but these two kept me entertained when i didnt...

The best value for money processor on the market.
Advantages: Blistering Speed
Disadvantages: None
...I've recently upgraded from a Pentium D 830 to this monster, without really upgrading anything else in the computer, and the difference it made was exceptional.
This is the 2nd generation (already) Intel processor based on it's 'core' microarchitecture. The previous being called Netburst, and is still around in Pentium 4's and Pentium D 9 series processors.
The beauty of the Core 2 Duo chips are the incredible power they are capable of, which producing half the heat of the Pentium 4's.
On benchmarking, this processor alone increased the speed of my computer by 53%. This is a huge amount considering i payed less than £300! It's like having a whole new processor.
The processor has a very fast Front Side Bus (FSB) speed of 1066 Mhz and will work with the fastest Ram you can throw at it.
It also stays very cool, even under...
