Like I say, easy to use. Much like a Sat Nav you can take it in and out of the car and you stick it your window like a Sat Nav. However if you do have Sat Nav, this can also be a con - if you think about it, another thing to remember in the morning and another thing stuck to your window.
Another draw back to it is that you may find the cable gets in the way, dependent on where you have it. It is supplied with a in car power supply which you plug into your ciggerrate lighter - which can also be another downside if your Sat Nav starts to lose it's battery life. You can use standard batteries, but it's not as good - the signal seems weaker and it's definately not as loud. As a drummer, I am going deaf so I need things as loud as possible!

I discovered that I was going to struggle to find a decent boombox style DAB with CD player, and quickly realised that given the price and output level of some of the smaller DAB radios with CD players that I would actually get more bang for my buck if I bought a micro system.

Dabs have been around for a long time now, and I have been a regular customer for several years. In all this time they have never messed up on any of my orders. I can say that they provide first class service, even though there have been cases where customers see it completely different. I suppose I'm just lucky.
This site deals mainly with computer goods, ranging from hardware to software, and the range is extremely wide, although for hardware enthusiasts such as myself, looking for tweakable products for overclocking etc aren't so good here. ...As with many of my reviews my children seem to be the inspiration behind them, this is no different, although I do feel a little nostalgia as I'm writing it.
When I was a child there seemed to be the most incredible array of sweets available to us, all as sumptuous and alluring as the one before, the product I will now review is no exception.
The product in question is Trebours "DIP DAB".

These are packed in exactly the same packaging that I remember from my childhood.
It comes in the very distinct bright yellow paper bag, with the name of the brand written across it in vivid red writing, beneath that lies a tumultuous sea of white sherbet flowing across the pack with the enclosed red lolly pop half immersed in the afore mention sherbet.
Across the bottom is the simple, yet child tongue tingling...

...My scanner broke, and I needed a new as I was updating my web site. I did a price search on price runner, and got a list of scanners and sellers. Dabs was actually a few pence dearer than the cheapest price, but they delivered free, where as the cheapest seller required p&p. The scanner was a canon N65OU, a slim number that plugged into your pc's USB. It cost just a total of £69 (including vat). I got an email telling me my order had been accepted, and it should be sent the next day. Sure enough the next morning it turned up. A day after I got a letter with a written invoice. I have had no reason to contact them (other than the sale of the item), so cannot comment on that aspect of it....

...Having used dabs.com only twice, I cannot really give a fair opinion on what the shop/service is like. I can however alert people to the mistakes they made with both of my products and hopefully warn them so it doesn't happen to them.
I didn't actually shop online, I drove to the warehouse in Westhoughton (Bolton district) as I only live in Wigan (about 15 mins drive away). On the first occasion, i bought a Fujitisu hard drive - 20.4GB at just £73 - bargain I thought. However after getting the new hard drive home and discovering that I had to then download the software for it myself, I soon discovered the new hard drive wasn't working at all. I had to wait for a month to have it installed by a friend of mine and then the damn thing didn't work.
So off I trotted to dabs again and told them the problem, they asked for the hard...

...There’s a few good computer online retailer sites I had visited most of the rest so I decided to check this site out.
My first impression was the site looked like a jigsaw that had been put together. It looked like it had been patched together. The red and white décor colour didn’t work for me really. But, one of the main advantages it had for me was that it was really fast compared to other sites. It loaded up really quickly and I had no problems surfing the site. And that also meant no irritating windows advertising things that don’t interest me popping up.

My first inpression when i got it out of the box was good, it blends into any car dash board with its sexy matt finish and it espeicially blends into my dashboard with its red light up buttons as i have a VW passat with the red and blue dash lights.... looks right at home. ...Radios are a funny thing. They've been around for ages and everyone pretty much takes them for granted. But actually there's quite an interesting history behind them. LegendaryMrsDude likes the radio. She used to have a combination cd/cassette/radio that sat blaring out the latest hits from the popular beat combos of the day. Until it failed. And then she was without music. So top of the Christmas list this year was a new radio.
