...I was browsing around Boots with my Mum a few months ago, looking for something to spend her many boots advantage points on. I needed some eye makeup remover and also a new facial cleanser, so was pleasantly surprised to see that Olay now did ‘Daily Facials’ which were supposed to do both – and more. However, looking at the price – 6.99 for a tub of 30 cloths and then another 5.99 for refills – was it really worth it? But seeing as it was only points we were spending (and it’s always hard to find something you really want to buy with them), I wasn’t too bothered and decided I’d try them, and then see if I wanted to spend real money on them later. ...Yes, I?m on the trail of special offers again, in my local Superdrug as usual! PACKAGING I bought the refill pack so there may be a difference to the normal packs. The refills come in a box with the Olay logo with the words Daily Facials on it; the cloths themselves are enclosed in a plastic wrapper inside the box. There?s not a lot else I can say about that (I watched Forrest Gump on Sunday!) THE CLOTHS Initially the when the cloths are taken out of the plastic wrapper each cloth is folded into quarters with a shiny side up. This shiny side is what will create the lather when the cloth is made wet. Oil of Olay "USED" to be the best daily facial

Advantages: The former product kept my skin soft and smooth and actually looking younger
Disadvantages: I do not like the fact that you are selling basically a piece of cloth with soap for facial cleans

...A faithful DAILY user for over 30 years. Low and behold, this latest change in the daily facial cloths refill has be boiling. Heck, I might as well buy the soap and use a towel to get the friction and results I USED to receive from the front and back of the cleansing cloths. Now, when scrubbing my face, it just feels like a piece of thin cotton with soap. WHAT HAPPENED? After this refill, I will be seeking a new facial cleanser that doesn't change for the worse. Did you really think it was okay not to include the srub side on the cloth, especially for the same price? If I don't have options to choose the type of facial cloths I need for my skintype, this will be my last box. A faithful, faithful consumer for years, who is extremely disappointed........

...This cleanser/exfoliator mimics and deep cleansing spa facial, and since I discovered it, I would not be without it! Although I used for gentle daily resurfacing of my ageing skin, it is also recommded for younger, oily or acne prone skin. Unlike many exfoliators, it is not rough, granular or stipping on the skin. It has a refreshing clean scent and contains lavender oil, sea salt and marine extracts in a glycerine base and the mineral ingredients provide the hydration and smoothing effects to the skin. The Price I have checked the price of these in Boots, and they are expensive at £6.99 for 30 cloths in a plastic container, and a refill pack of 30 is available at £5.99. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Advantages: Doesn't dry out skin, nice texture

...I had been using dermalogica cleanser and toner and found that it was working well with my skin - so I anted to delve a little deeper into the product range. I wanted a product which would make my skin feel clean, smooth and fresh while keeping the moisture in and I have to say I've found it in this. Dermalogica products are natural and makes your skin feel good without feeling like its been stripped of its natural oils etc. Daily Microfoliant is gentle enough to use on a daily basis - however, I've been using it every other day and it find works fine like that. I paid £22 for the 75g size and so far this has lasted me 5 months and I still have quite a lot left so it is excellent value for money.
