...I think it was the Dalai Lama who, when he was asked if he was afaraid of death replied, "I die every night, but so far I have woken up every morning", Richard Dawkins stated, "I was dead for a very long time before I was alive", I like both of these comments. My view is this; if I assume that there is no life after death then I have to live this life the best I can, put as much into it as I can, and be nice whenever I can, then at least I will die knowing that i have had a good run. If there is a life after death, which I very much doubt, then great, bonus time. It is only our ego's and intelligence that make us fear death and imagine that we can beat it, yet our intelligence should also tell us that there is no proof of this whatsoever, just opinions and hopes. ...I bought this book a couple of months ago after reading a positive review in a magazine. However, there was something slightly important that the review left out.
