...their cover of the Pointer Sisters? dance hit, Jump. I think they did this cover a good service and made it current and up to date. ...♣ The London Underground ♣ ----------------------------------------- Considering I travel on the London Underground at least 6 days a week, it seemed fitting that I came across this category to write under. On top of that, two years ago I spent two days raising money for St Helena Hospice by visiting all of the 275 stations on the network. By the way, if anyone ever feels the urge to do that, I would certainly recommend it as it is great fun. When I did it I wasn?t working to any time schedule but you may want to try and do it in the shortest time as possible for example. Just Dance and make a fool of yourself

Advantages: Great fun, intensive workout

Dance To The Underground

Advantages: Some excellent beats, great guitar combinations, different to a lot of other albums about
Disadvantages: A few tracks take a bit longer to grow on you, A few areas where the vocals are a little weak

...for a matter of seconds and on the whole the vocals work really well. It helps that both Anthony Roman and Tommy Williams share the vocals as it adds a bit of variety to the album. At times both struggle with certain lines but it really didn?t effect my enjoyment of this album. The lyrics are quite interesting and have been described from some sources as ?Half Political, Half Dance Party? (all music.com). It makes the subject of the album incredibly interesting and despite the political theme, it makes the album very enjoyable. I?m still a fan of the first track I heard from this album, ?Dance To The Underground?. It has the drums keeping time all the way through while the guitars create quite a unique punk dance combination that works fantastically. ...My personal expperiences with London Underground are fairly good. It is not a perfect service, the people tend to be nasty, and they keep raising the ticket price! BUT, without it, getting places would be a lot more difficult, and i suppose you get alot for the price, compared to trains to other places. Despite its problems, London Underground has a goodish service, or at least the only one available! THE TUBE LINES There are 10 main lines and 2 smaller lines, aswell as the DLR. ...seconds. Sound Of The Underground begins with the whine of an electric guitar. This song is very upbeat ; a very drum and bass song. Sound Of The Underground is definitely a catchy song. When this song was released , it was very different to the other styles of music in the charts at that time. This song has quite a 'dark' sound to it and also a slight moodiness to it. Each member of the band 'gets' their say on this song. By this I mean , they all get to sing equally on it , unlike some of the band's other songs. The lyrics are interesting : "Disco Dancing With The Lights Down Low" , "Neighbours Banging On The Bathroom Wall" and "Screws My Mind Into I Lose Control". The lyrics certainly get you thinking.
