The book has so many elements to it that it needs repeated reading just to appreciate them all. On the surface DTCOTW is a tale of poaching pheasants and outsmarting a spoilt bloated land owner, but beneath the surface it is about the complete love between a father and his Son and the joys and troubles of raising a child as a single parent. Champion

Advantages: Superb kids book
Disadvantages: simple

...I’m terrible, granted not the best introduction to a review, but it’s true. I have no will power whatsoever, my local Tesco has a charity table on the outward door with books on it. Books for me are what Donuts are for Homer Simpson, “hmmmm books”, so you can imagine what I’m like walking past a table full of dodgy old paperbacks going for a small charitable donation. The trouble is I never find the time to read them. I try to be strong but when I saw Roald Dahl’s Danny Champion of the World I couldn’t help myself, I justified myself by thinking I’d write a review on it, so this is my justification. Perfect bedtime story book and truly captivating

Advantages: fantastic storytelling from a true genious Roald Dahl
Disadvantages: You have to turn the tapes over to keep listening

...Perfect as an audio book for people of any age. The story has been lovingly read and sounds amazing over the audio cassette. I found it the perfect way to fall asleep listening to roald dahl's magical amd loving tale of Danny and his father. The audio book consists of two tapes each with two sides and runs for approximately 2 3/4 hours which took me three weeks to listen to at bedtime. The book is read by Timothy West who has got the most amazing voice that brings the story to life. The tape also features music designed to dramatise the events. The times said of Roald Dahl 'the most inventive and origional childrens writer of our times.' World Series Of Poker Tournament Of Champions

Advantages: Excellent for learning how to play strong tournament poker
Disadvantages: Gameplay can be slow

...I bought this game when it finally came out for the Ps2 on march 16th 2007. I paid £17.95 for it as it was a deal of the week in Game stores. Now the prices varies and you can pay anywhere from £25 to £39.99 depending on where you look for it. Game features include Quickplay where you can play a sit and go, a tournament or a regular game of holdem. Also in quickplay you can plat other poker varients to learn how to play other games. In career mode is where the game is most enjoyable. You start off in a home game with some of your friends, but its no ordinary home game. His father is an inspirational figure to him: he tells stories of wonder and enchantment, he knows all there is to know about most things, and he is a loving caring father. ...Champion is the second largest supermarket chain in France. They are one of the Carrefour group. Champion supermarkets are also in other countries Belgium, Spain, Poland, Greece and Turkey and in South America, Argentina, Brazil. But I have only shopped in them in France. The first store opened in October 1969 in Bayeux France. Champion supermarkets are much like other large supermarkets I guess. There is a large store in Calais and Champion sell brand name items and their own label items too .They sell household items for cleaning, other household items too brushes , crockery , toiletries ,dairy products, meat fresh vegetables tinned food , chilled foods , ready made meals , frozen foods. ...Reverend and the Makers are an 'Indie Funk Electro' band hailing from Sheffield and are currently signed to Wall Of Sound Records. The band have been around in their current form since 2005, however have only recently come to fame through their summer dance floor anthem 'Heavyweight Champion Of The World'.
