It is presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. I find them entertaining in a sniggering sort of way. You can watch it most nights on ITV at 9pm. The first voted off is Robert Kilroy-Silk. Old skool horror by the master himself

Advantages: occult oldskool storyline, good soundtrack, gothic scenery, great killingshots

...Dani Filth co-operated in the themesong of this movie. Conclusion: if you liked previous movies of Dario Argento you will love this one. Everything a classic horror movie needs is in this flick. Personally I would love to see more of these kind of movies coming out....

If you like House you will love Life

Advantages: Refreshing look at a the cop genre
Disadvantages: too short

...I am really impressed by this new series, for those who have not seen it, it got buried on ITV 3, the premise is that Charlie Crews (plyed by Damian Lewis) is a cop who was imprisoned for 12 years for a crime he did not commit. With DNA evidence he is released and as part of his settlement gets 50 million dollars (never specified) and the right to rejoin the police department. His time in prison has made him a little eccentric, he has become very Zen, and also eats prodigious amounts of fresh fruit. Together with his partner, the beautiful new comer Sarah Shahi, playing Dani Reese they fight crime and he secretly looks for who framed him. The advertisng line was "If you like House you will love Life" which i think is fair, House turned the Medical drama on it's head and I think this one is a refreshing new look at cop shows. An enjoyable album with great hits

Advantages: An enjoyable album with great hits
Disadvantages: Not very impressed with the overall design for the CD cover

...Quite a good CD by any measure and enough to keep the RHCP fans very happy but probably not ecstatic. There are quite a lot of fillers in this double CD but there are many great tracks, especially Wet Sand, Dani California (has an excellent video clip), Stadium Arcadium, Tell Me Baby and Storm in a Teacup. A good album but will no way be the best Peppers release. The fans will be happy but probably won't rate it as their favourite. But good on the guys for their longevity. Overall not the greatest Red Hot Chilli Peppers album release, although I am usually a fan of their work. Enjoyable songs which can tend to be a bit repeatative when compared to each other though, I'd recommend buying this album over seperate singles due to cheaper expenses if you are a fan like me. It features hit music, but each song has that RHCP-feel which I love...

Don't Lose Your Head !

Advantages: good cast, great costumes

...Carry On ... Don't Lose Your Head ! was made in 1966 & was another venture into history for the films. This one is set at the time of the French Revolution & features lots of stereotypical French & English characters & plenty of snipes at the aristocracy ! French actress, Dany Robin, plays the role of Jacqueline in this one, adding her sexy accent & curvy figure to the ever-present charms of the core cast. Sid James plays Sir. Rodney Ffing ('with two Fs') AKA the Black Fingernail, lisping & mincing his way through set pieces of well choreographed dances & beautiful locations & clothes. The cast are very good, the sets & scenery are wonderful & the story is good too, but somehow this one has never been one of my favourites. It is worth watching though....

NY Clubs

Advantages: Fantastic Music, Sound and lighting

...If you are into clubbing, then I throughly recommend that you go to Vinyl, which is 6 Hubert St NY. On Friday night you will find the DJ's, DJ Dany Tenaglia and on Sunday night you'll find the world famous Body and Soul hosted by Francois Kevorkian. Both nights are completly different entities. Friday is hard and heavy, deep minimalistic tribal grooves and Sunday is sweet and soulful. The club itself is not a large anonymous place, it's quite intimate, which is all the better, with a crisp clear sound system. Lighting is also spot on! If you want to go on Friday, get there for about 11pm and If you want Boday and Soul get there around 3pm (in the afternoon, the club finishes at midnight). Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!...

They are great at their instruments and Dani's vocals are tremendous. They play a great range of songs and some of their best songs on the night have to be "From the cradle to enslave" and "Her ghost in the fog". There arn't any real bad parts in particular. I'm not really sure what's going on with the DVD cover though, i don't know what they were on when they designed that! Anyway, this is a great gig to have been at but, as usual, the DVD is the next best thing. Cradle of filth...

Advantages: More Mitchell and Webb and Peep Show style comedy

...Magicians follows the careers of magicians Harry and Karl. Once a famous duet but ever since Karl screwed Harry's wife and Harry's accidental murder of her afterwards the two have went their separate ways and are struggling in the world alone. They then decide to pair up for the big Magic tournament that offers a grand cash prize of £20,000. This is a good comedy film. More for fans of Peep Show and Mitchell and Webb, but it still translates to others.
