...I could not believe that I had to suggest this as a new product! Darts has been around for a fair while, but is not on this site...! Anyway, I'll stop moaning and write. BBC2 have been showing the World Darts Championship on TV this week, and, to be honest (don't laugh) I have enjoyed it a lot! The back of the box states "Get in to the crazy and wonderful world of touch darts" and whilst very stereotypical and not very "PC" I instantly thought of the game played by podgy, beer swilling, middle aged working class men in their local (and hazy prior to the smoking ban) social club. Obviously, this is incorrect and darts is a sport of people of all ages - just look at the young Dutch players appearing on the world stage at the Lakeside last year (the names of who escapes me). As its name suggests this game is produced by Sega and is, according to the box, designed for players aged 3+. Discovering tickets for the whole of the final (4 nights) would cost me less than £50.00 (per person), I faxed my application across to the Lakeside. PDC World Championship Darts on PS2

Advantages: Licnenced Game of the PDC and can be 10 licenced darts players
Disadvantages: Poor Graphics , Repetitive Commentry , lack of Realism , lack of `customisation

...PDC World Championship darts is a half reasonable attempt for a first shot at a licenced game on the PS2. However there are lots of things that put this game down that could well be improved. First off the carear mode it just lets you be one standard darts player. There is a vey limited customation for your player eg a few shirts and theme song you can choose from but nothing to get you excited. The graphic quality for the PS2 isnt up to scratch. The graphics resemble more the ps1 than anything else. The players movements are not smooth and fluent like they should be and they all have the same standard action. Commentry is very repetitive how many times sid says you couldnt swing a badger in here is unbelivable. The players themselves dont seem to show any emotion when throwing darts. If they hit a 180 they have the same emotions as...

...This game could promise so much but delivered very little. The idea of this game where you could become a darting champion is a good one but the game lacks too much. The game focuses on the PDC the "glitz and glamour" side of darts, it has the top 16 players in the PDC with numerous formats you can play. The game modes are a plus point of this title with several to choose from witch includes a career mode, exhibition mode and party games. The gameplay lets this game down so badly, throwing the dart is surely the central point of the game and it seems they've just forgotten about it. There are two ways to use the controllers to throw, either being easy. One with the wii remote, aiming with it and throwing it like a dart (keep hold of the remote though) and equally as hard you can use the remote and nun chuck aiming with the remote...

Triton Unichrome Dart - a great way to shower.

...I have just had a Triton Dart II thermoststic concentric mixer shower fitted for £308 and wow! what a shower. Firstly the shower is very stylish in chrome and looks very chic. Secondly it is very easy to use:- to start the shower all I have to do is turn the On/Off flow control fully clockwise and to stop the shower just turn the control fully anti- clockwise. To adjust the showering temperature all I have to do is rotate the temperature control - clockwise for cooler and anti-clockwise for hotter. Simple. However, the best thing about this product is that it is child friendly. By that I mean that it is fitted with a maximum temperature stop set at 38 degrees centigrade - so it is perfectly safe for children to use. This maximum temperature stop can be overridden at any time by depressing a button at the 12o'clock position...

...I have staying the Dart Marina three times now and I feel I need to share my experience with you. Lets put it simply the start with, the hotel is brilliant. There is no other word to describe it. It is right on the seafront and within a pleasurable walking range to Dartmouth. It has outstanding views across the sea with regular yaughts coming into the marina. The team of staff are friendly, helpful and see to your every need. The chef, who I have met, is a brilliant cook and has produced several different and amazing dishes from local produce each time I have been there. The rooms are immaculate and stylish with TV, radio, en-suite and several complimentary items. The facilities, which include a spa, swimming pool and gym, are state of the art and enjoyable to use. ...Although Phil 'The Power' Taylor won the Skol World Championship but he is not the undisputed world champion because of a split that means there are two world championships. The other World Championship, the WDO was won by John 'The Boy' Walton who beat Ted 'The Count' Hankey with a stunning performance. The two must now surely meet up to decide who is the real 'King of Darts' in a glamorous battle of the titans. These matches have happened before with Taylor dispatching Ray Barnaveld easily and they have been fairly disappointing encounters. But Walton and Taylor seem more evenly matched with both having the talent to hit 180's on demand and also being able to hit doubles with ease. I think that Taylor would just have too much in this closet for Jon 'the Boy' Walton to take. Come on boys, Let?s play Darts....
