...I am definately not a techno type of person but can certainly recommend this data cable. It is a useful, functional piece of equipment which allows you to link your Sony camcorder to any kind of PC. The main thing I would say is, that if you find yourself in need of this cable then the best thing to do is to shop around. There are bargains to be had and quite big differences in the prices charged for it. Amazon is quite a good place to look, as not only do you get an Amazon price but there are other offers to be found there for new cables too. When I was looking the best deal available was £7.99 (plus shipping). Or of course you could order from Amazon when you are buying other items and then be eligible for free shipping if you spend £15. 3210e Data Cable

...I got my data cable to add ringtones, logos and unlock it. You know, I actually never did any of these. I got bored of it after about 10 minutes. You have to fid somewhere decent to get the rigtone/logos from, then discover you have to pay somehow alot of the time. Then there's the trying to connect it to your phone. Don't buy this without instructions! You need to remove the back of the phone, and insert it down the side of the SIM, and hope it's in right. the cable has 6 little pins that touch 6 metal bits , and they have to touch, usually with you pushing dow o the cable to keep them touching! In fact, you're probably better off just buying the ringtones out the back of Hello Magazine or something, it's so confusing. I must have spent a good couple of hours trying to find some program that works to unlock. They all failed...

...The 3210 has a data connection port built in to the circut board that allows you to connect the phone to a PC. The data cables allow you to unlock your phone with unlocking software to use different network's SIM cards in a phone locked to a particular service provider. Unlocking with a data cable is now not neccesary as there are websites that provide the unlocking codes for free, calculated from the phone's IMEI number and the network code. The cables are still useful as they allow you to activate features hidden in some models, such as the hidden games; react and logic, plus you can activate the line 2 facility and enable the vibrate function, with the Nokia Profile programme. ...To transfer files such as images, music, games, applications and more between your nokia phone and a PC you will need a connection between the two. The best ways to do this are through bluetooth, infared or using this data cable. Using this data cable i have put music onto my phone, backed up images onto the psp and much more. Also unless you have a PC or laptop with built in compatable bluetooth or infared the cable is the cheapest method to make a connection with the PC and phone. The data cable works with nokia PC suite and the drivers are included in the PC suite if you cant find them. The downside to this cable is that even though it is for nokia phones it is not for all nokia phones. For example the 6600 phone is not compatible. Advantages: Improves the graphical quality of games, Cheaper than the official cable.

Wii component cable- Well worth the money

Advantages: sharper/brighter picture, opens up more ports on TV, saves hassle.

...The Nintendo Wii component video cable really is a sound investment if you are the owner of an HD/ LCD TV, and obviously a nintendo Wii. Before i bought it, i had trouble with the picture quality and contrast on many of the games. Games such as Wii Sports were fine, but more of the action/adventure games such as Zelda or Splinter Cell give a very dark picture which can sometimes be hard to make out what was happening. The only way i could combat this problem was to adjust the contrast on my television which did help, but was alot of hassle. With the component cable, the picture is not only much brighter, but much sharper and defined.
